One guy who isn't catching nearly enough flak in this thread for his piss poor playoff performance is Keuchel. He was brought it to be our steady hand for the playoffs and he laid two eggs. He deserves as much heat as anybody on the roster for this debacle.

Not sure we fire snit, but we need to think hard about it. You can be beloved by your players but it doesn’t matter when he can’t put you in the best position to win. Need a new skipper. Need two outfielders to pair with Acuna. Could be Duvall + 1. Could be Duvall to the bench. Need to figure out about 3B. Feel like Riley isn’t ready. Need to figure out a pitching coach. Need to figure out about starting pitching in general. Need to define roles for the bullpen and cut away the chaff. Need to figure out catcher. I think we cut Flow and keep Cervelli and get another. I feel like Riley/Duvall/Charlie is a great bench with Joyce, GOAT, and Ortega. We obviously don’t keep all but that’s a pretty good group to pick from. It’s a lot for AA but he needs to nut up and make the hard choices here. We’ve endured enough

We are 100% picking up Julio's option (congrats Tobias) He's going to make 30+ starts (all being TQSs), throw 180 innings, destroy the Marlins and have an ERA around 4.25 That's gonna be our 5th guy in the rotation. We don't have enough money or enough ready young talent to have anything better. Soroka Folty Max Newk/Anderson/one of the awful young guys that failed this year/etc Ace I'd guess we'll sign an old vet to give us another arm. I'd really like to see Newk get another shot at as a starter
