Leave Birmingham out of this.
Some of the poster’s in this thread have never been to the Summit and it shows
Feels like the start of an Inciarte/Ervin platoon.
Catchers getting practice in for when they have to catch Luke
Are we bullish on Langeliers? I saw some gifs of his swing and it looks pretty good. May be another reason we don’t bring back Flow
He's got elite defense, most question his bat. It'll be interesting to see how he does with a full year in the minors. His short rookie year wasn't great
let's be real we are gonna bring back Flo
watched him play with Room 15 and he certified him as a bust
Slowest trot ever
guess he passed the physical. yay
Brb, googling Travis Snyder
Glad we found our lefty bench bat.
I feel like at this point you're just bitching to bitch since they've signed Kipnis and Lamb in the last month
2 other shit players. I think both are minor league deals too. Maybe not Lamb
So, his last professional AB was in 2015? YUGE signing.
Travis Snider is somehow only 33. Would've taken the over on that an hour ago without hesitation.
Lamb is an awesome bench signing. And a good hedge against Riley if he's batting .195 in May..
Who the fuck are these guys?
How AA put together our bench this offseason.
We really don’t need to discuss Bustaliers anymore in this thread. He’s apparently such a bad catcher that he was DHing in Asheville. Yea real promising.
it’s like 250 feet down the right field line. how many homers did bustaliers hit to that easy porch? zero
Designated hitter? More like designated misser imo
Asheville's catching may have gotten worse, but their drum circles gained some quality depth.
Anyone have access?
Thank you kind sir.
makes sense that josh ignored the boil notice and got sick off dirty water
I don't agree with this. He has more experience than Riley, but his bat is just as bad now.
His most recent super small sample size was really good.
We are really scraping the barell hard.
Guys. ST is about to start. They’re gonna be signing scrubs for camp.
And wait until those scrubs are in our opening day roster.
And we barely have a starting OF, and huge questions at 3B
Barely have a starting OF??
We have questions at one position where we are starting a former top prospect who at one point carried our team to a division title for a month or 2.
I think we have valid complaints about:
1. Financial flexibility
No one should be complaining about the starting 8 or a back up catcher.
Probably hyperbole, but are we doing a platoon of Pache/Ender in CF?
Agree re: depth and BP, but I also think 3B and C are huuuge question marks. Can we expect TDA to keep up his redhot 2nd half? Need Riley to take a huge step.
Pache is the center fielder.
I don’t think there’s any chance Ender plays unless he lights it up in ST. He’ll come in to replace Ozuna on defense in the 9th but that’s it.
He'll give us elite defense but he might hit like .210
Hard to argue against his sample size in the playoffs though. Dude put together some great ABs
Maybe. there's only one way to find out. He's our best prospect he needs to play every day. And his elite defense next to Ozuna is going to make up for a weaker bat. We don't need CF to hit great to be a really solid player.
Fucking chicken little over here
Our lineup and rotation are near the top of the league. But our depth is terrible. If any of our top regulars get hurt or struggle it will be tough to overcome.
He hit 182 in the post season
So did Ronnie
So he's Ron?
Imma go 2 for 2 on sig bets this year
I just can't hold that against him. It was his first ever big league action. If anything it was criminal that we held him back until that point.
