So, they had a catcher pitch the 9th and we went 123? That's actually pretty funny considering the offensive outburst.
Folty got shellacked again last night. 6 runs in 5.1 innings Waters went 3-5 with a walk, 2 doubles, a homer, and 3 RBI yesterday and he's at .333/.389/.515 on the year now
Supposed to be. I don't know if they'll hold him since he's had two consecutive rough starts. He threw 89 pitches in that one so he's probably ready to go.
is Newcomb expected to buried in the minors for the foreseeable future or do you guys expect him back up soon?
I think he’ll be back sooner than later. They’re planning on mixing and matching different guys throughout the year to fill that last rotation spot, and he’ll be involved in that.
That post was not meant to be informative, it was just trying to trigger me by listing a rotation that has Julio Teheran as our #2
Remember all the times Tobias told Watson he needed to check himself into a mental health facility for keeping up a years-long troll on the internet.
I talk about graduating our young talent all the time...would be so big if we can get him to continue to do what he’s been doing for another 140-150 innings. Really just a matter of avoiding his bullshit injuries at this point. Our young position players have acclimated pretty quickly to this level, but pitching has been frustrating as hell. Took Folty a minute, Newk kinda did but in reality kinda sucks. Would like to see one more kid breakthrough, even if it’s in a relief capacity. Window’s open and we have to have them turn the talent into production. Having 6 “AAAA” pitchers doesn’t move the needle.
