Today was the perfect game too as we had already secured the series win, it’s a day game after a night game, we have a long cross country flight after to play in SF tomorrow, and though he’s had some bad luck his numbers have been falling.
This has got to be Folty's last chance to prove he doesn't need to be sent down/shut down for a minute, right?
Out the gate I notice Folty has seemingly fixed where he starts his hands at but two hard hits balls in the first two batters. Not ideal. 9 HRs in 21 2/3 good God that's unreal awful.
As that was hit I turned to my wife and said, “Ronnie just hit one 450 feet” This is why I’m smoltzy’s stat man.
