Hope to see another good outing tonight from Folty. Need to build on the momentum of his last performance and get to a more stabilized rotation
Our team now is VERY different than the team the Phils saw opening weekend. We started Julio, Wilson and Wright that weekend. Roughly 80% of our bullpen from that series has been demoted or cut loose. We didn't play Soroka, Riley, Fried, Gausman or Folty. We didn't have good Luke, Webb, Touki or good Newk in the pen. This team is very different now from a pitching standpoint alone from that opening weekend. Hopefully we'll also have Craig the next time we meet.
He looked like really good Folty last time out save for two hung sliders. Really hope we see that again.
Thinking about this more, does not make me think we are confident Folty is going to last very long. What was the official word on my he left early last start? Dizziness due to heat exhaustion?
I'm surprised the writers picked extended family of Joyce to kill off instead of BDC after last night.
I’m pleased to say I was never one of the people that thought the sky was falling after all of the offseason complaining and overreactions after the opening series against Philly. Mark it down as another successful evaluation and feel free to reference it later!
Solid fanpost on Trey Harris (179 wRC+ for Rome this year) from TC. I want to believe. https://www.talkingchop.com/2019/5/23/18637184/how-excited-should-we-be-about-trey-harris
https://www.mlb.com/braves/news/2019-mlb-mock-draft-on-may-23 Jonathan Mayo’s latest mock 9. Braves: Jackson Rutledge, RHP, San Jacinto (Texas) JC (Compensation for failure to sign 2018 first-rounder Carter Stewart) This is really where the projections start heading off in many directions. Rutledge’s stuff and upside make him belong in this neck of the woods. There are also college bats like UNLV shortstop Bryson Stott and Baylor catcher Shea Langeliers in the mix. 21. Braves: Logan Davidson, SS, Clemson Let the run on shortstops commence! Davidson might be the best of the bunch with his power-speed potential and his ability to stay at the position.
clemson is firmly on the bubble to make the tourney so skillet was giving us his bracketology projection
Was reading an article the other day that had us linked heavily to Corbin Carroll along with Hunter Bishop. Mayo has Carroll going 11th here.
I like Carroll a lot, just wish he wasn’t so undersized. Of course, if he wasn’t, he wouldn’t make it to ATL’s pick.
And if there are any attempts to cheat, especially with my wife who is a dirty, dirty tramp, I am just going to snap. Do I make myself clear?
i didnt even know it either until i accidentally looked it up and figured out the right answer i will withhold the answer because apparently that's what i love to do according to my fat ex-wife. withhold
He’s a switch hitting SS with power from both sides who can choke and poke down in the count. Wirey frame, can make every play in the field. Consistent glove. Can steal a base. Got 5 tools
