We seriously must have the most AAAA players on a roster today than any other team in baseball: Ender, Panda, Adrianza, Heredia, Almonte, Smith, Chavez, Roark.
And Swanson. Can’t avoid the fact he’s well below average on offense for a major league every day player.
I tend to agree with that line of thinking. His track record shows he’s a below average player. We’d better non-tender his ass.
I’ve been calling to trade him for whatever we can get rather than non-tendering him. But no way we tender him a contract so that we can pay him $10m+ next year.
I’m really at a loss for why we keep some of these dudes on the roster. AA is even manipulating the DL rules to hang onto Dayton. It’s absolute madness. Ender hurts us staying on the roster. Heredia and Almonte have out performed him and they’re the definition of a trash pile player.
Why isn’t Almonte hitting leadoff and Dans 5 He doesn’t hit well but at least he gets walks and gets on base

Honestly, I don’t want him making any moves. I have close to zero confidence in him. Fire him and let his replacement make the changes.

Arcia and Camargo should be here over Ender and Panda. That’s a simple move that would at least marginally improve our bench.
Panda was brilliant with marketing his hug and that stupid ass panda head. Makes cutting him lose tougher.
