If you have a meter and the schematics, start at the igniter and work your way back until you find the fault. My heat went out last year due to a faulty gas valve and put the whole thing into lock out mode. We replaced the valve and everything works fine.
I’ll probably just wait until Monday and let them bring somebody out to check on it and swap it out. I have no idea what I am looking at when it comes to electrical stuff.
Yeah, looked at a video on YouTube and I removed the front panel to make sure everything was plugged in going to the knobs and wasn’t a loose wire somewhere.
good call, even if you successfully diagnose it, probably wouldn’t be able to fix it faster than the tech they send.
Yeah and I don’t want to get in there and take a chance of messing something up and voiding the warranty or something.
Anyone have any recommendations for outdoor storage sheds? We have a big walk out deck on our 2nd level, and so off the basement is a pretty big mostly covered walk-out area. Looking at 8 x 10’s and under 8 feet tall. It’s mostly covered so I am not worried about the weather elements. Just reading up on them, it sounds like quite a wide range of work assembling them.
I had a wooden shed built when I moved into my current house. Local shed building company. It's pretty nice. I'm about to be in the same situation as you are and thinking of just getting something pretty basic. Maybe plastic or metal lean to type, just got get the lawn mower and yard equipment out of the garage.. Something like this or nicer (below) Some local places in atlanta cost about $2,000 for an 8x10 shed homedepot.com/p/Arrow-Yard-Saver-4-ft-W-x-10-ft-D-White-Galvanized-Metal-Storage-Shed-YS410/100065639
If all the ignitors don't work the electric connection is probably loose. With it being brand new you might as well make them fix it but if you pull off the knobs and the face plate you should seem the black and red wire. Should be easy to see which one is disconnected. Unplug first of course.
Yeah I looked that one up and I don’t know if it would look good on the side of the garage but it’s an option I hadn’t considered yet so I am going to look into it more. Thanks
Would also recommend checking out Wayfair.com's outdoor storage shed options. Might be able to find something a little different at a better price.
Curious to hear what everyone thinks some built-ins like this would cost to have built and installed.
Got our washer and dryer hooked up. Went with the LG. Fiancé doesn’t like that the wash cycle and dryer each take 90minutes, and the dryer doesn’t dry very hot. Will need to tinker with some settings.
8-12k installed. Not familiar with that grooved look material. Also appears to have low voltage or LED lighting in the shelves. Hardware and possible countertop material costs as well, can't see top. Other thoughts-holy hell what a kick space, hope you have a roomba. Also, off center HVAC diffuser in ceiling bothers me.
For the record, that was just a picture online I found for inspiration. Not exactly what I want, but it’s similar. Do you even shiplap, bro?
Yes I bought new ones like a year ago or so and to get to even 80 minutes on my washer I have to do like an extra rinse deep bedding wash thing that is so long
Sure, but I've not seen it used for cabinetry like this. It honestly looks like the grooved organization panels you see in a garage.
Yeah at that point they might as well use pegboard because it looks weird having some shelves on the lines and others in between them
The fence along the front of our property was finished today. Still need to get a solar powered gate opener and install it.
Anybody know landscaping in here? I sprayed some 2,4-D in my yard a couple weeks ago, and a couple days ago I noticed this on some of the bushes around my house. Pretty sure they’re rhododendron, and I thought 2,4-D was safe around rhododendron and azaleas if it wasn’t too heavily applied. I didn’t spray the bushes directly at all, but I was pretty close to a few. Two questions: can the damaged plants be saved? If so, how do I do that? (not sure why they’re posting sideways)
I haven’t ran any of the cycles. I’m guessing she’d do everything on standard wash. Warm water, heavy load, high spin.
Energy save on the dryer. Adds 16 minutes to a normal dry. Washing machine can’t test now. It’s on heavy/towels or whatever so I’m sure it’s got added time.
I’ve fucked up many times through the years in similar ways. Similar situation was couple years ago hydrangeas had a fungus and I used a fungicide that I thought was safe, same results. Best thing I would do is leave them alone and just make sure you take really good care of them this year. Keep them well watered, would say every 3 days or so in summer. They should come back next year, probably won’t flower but will green back up. Every couple of months I would do a scratch test and make sure they’re still green and alive.
She must think you get really dirty staying at home. There's an allergen setting on my Maytag washer that's 2 hours 31 minutes and I'll never use it, and sanitize is 1 hour 42 minutes.
No clue on the cost but I like the look. After Funshot Residue mentioned the vent I’d never be able to un-see that. If he hadn’t pointed that (or the off center can light) I would have love to have that in my living area.
Cause it’s sofa and chair covers being washed. I think it was all just user error and the energy save adding extra time. First experience with new stuff lol
I noticed the same thing. Happened to me with a fan we had put in our basement. Placement was fine until we put in furniture and TV. You just gave me a job, thank you.
Not yet. I took it apart yesterday and looked for any loose wiring but still didn't find anything. Just going to turn it over to the manufacturer and let them deal with it.
I would think they will send out a local technician. I really dont want to have to ship this fucking thing back and wait on a new one.
We did something sort of like that (but executed better) and I’d guess your price tag is at least 10k (for quality product), or at least it would be here.
Getting new gutters put on but need to paint the fascia first. Lady friends sister is an interior designer and suggested a dark green for the house, because we are nestled in the green belt, with a bright white trim and gutters. Unfortunately my ankle still isn't ready for ladder work so going to have pay my guys to paint the fascia.
I wasn't going green either but currently it's dark Brown with dark brown trim. Over brick. Just too dark I think.
Holy cow, I've somehow never heard of German smear before, but now I want to do it to my house, especially because I have some hard water stains on the brick due to the previous owners not adjusting sprinkler heads correctly Looks to be fairly easy to do according to Bob villa I think I may have another possible project to add to the ever growing list
