I'll say this I got a box set of 4 that came with about 50 feet of low voltage wire so I bought 100 foot low voltage wire to go with it off amazon for like $15. It came with a transformer that senses day light or lack thereof and you can choose how long it stays on in increments of 2 hours. I got the lights and wires fully in place and trenched under the sidewalk in February. I couldn't be more satisfied with them. I came home one night in September and noticed the lights had not turned on that evening. It was a pretty quick discovery that the transformer had stopped working. Home depot replaced it no questions the very next morning. But yeah it cost more to get an additional outlet on the side of the house outside and to trench under the sidewalk than the light kit itself.
