He plead out. Ended up with a shit ton of community service at the animal shelter which they thought would piss him off but he loved. He loved animals but hated that fucking cat bc it scratched up his car constantly. Dude was hilariously lucky and a great friend. First guy I ever met with a stripper pole in his master bedroom. Also almost got us murdered one year using his welding generator to power the house during an ice storm. Would have been fine if he was conservative. But no he was running the Christmas lights, PlayStation, surround sound, and decorations and this was like day 4 of the neighborhood having zero power. Everyone is freezing and we are playing video games.
I can't imagine a scenario where shooting a cat with a 22 isn't animal cruelty outside of it needing to be put down
Input appreciated. Got an ecobee3 thermostat and Alexia dot. What would be good wireless switches/outlets to pair it all together? Thanks
Have any of you had both Comcast and Direct TV? I currently have Comcast, I love it but it's expensive. I have a Direct TV dish on my roof from the previous owners that I have debated taking down but thought I should get some input on if I should look into switching to Direct TV before I dismantle it. Any input?
Yes, DIRECTV better. I had Comcast internet until recently, but att put fiber in my neighborhood so I switched since my Comcast promo was running out. I told them I was going to be doing research in Antarctica for a year so they'd cancel without all the bullshit and it worked.
I can watch my dvr/live tv on my phone or ipad anywhere in the world at no extra cost with the directv app.
Connor Norman how would i go about measuring my kitchen areas for a backsplash to know how much tile to get and to give the guy that wants to install an idea for pricing?
I'd go to DirecTV in an instant if I had ATT fiber in my neighborhood. Without that though I'm sticking to my comcast internet. It's so much fucking faster than what ATT offers in my area currently.
Pretty much this. I'd guess it won't be more than 30-40 sq ft. Why aren't you installing it yourself?
Because I'm horrible with stuff like this and if I'm putting the house on the market in the next 6 months to a year I don't want to fuck it up.
I've been spending a bunch of time on my front yard landscaping over the last 2-3 weeks and the deer have been sabotaging my efforts feasting on my new plants. We've had a back and forth involving repellents and I've only recently got the upper hand. In the interim I've tested the limits on Wal-mart's plant return policy (1 year, no questions asked). Over the weekend I brought them the root bulb from an iris that was about 95% devoured and they refunded my money without batting an eye. I'm pretty sure I could bring them a fistful of dirt and get a refund for any purchased plant.
So the measurements for my back splash are 5" by 109.5" and 13.5" by 99" One guy quote me 250 to install. The other said 100. How do those prices sound Connor Norman
so the inspection went well. this house built in 1959 had far fewer issues than the other house we were under contract on that was built in 1999 (by Georgia secretary of state -- and gubenatorial hopeful Brian Kemp)
I used to charge $200-250 for install on backsplash. Go with that one even though it's more expensive. Will probably get a better end result.
My brother lives in your neck of the woods and he uses motion sensing sprinkler/spray nozzle thingies. Works quite well. Even on humans from my experience.
Water pipes were frozen this morning and the wife left the kitchen sink on accidentaly so it was running all day and water got all over our floor and living room How F'd are we with mold issues
Got the tile down and grouted. Now I've gotta tile the shower and tub back splash and baby we've got a stew going. Spoiler
well it eventually unfroze since it wasn't that cold outside in Tn and our sink had a cutting board blocking the drain so the sink overflowed and then went all over our hardwood floors we live on a concrete slab thankfully
Depends on how the look when they dry out but you will probably have to refinish the floors. My parents had the ice maker leak while they were gone for the weekend and it caused the boards to warp. Had to replace a few pieces and refinish everything.
Today i mowed the lawn (3/4 acre), weed eated, put out weed and feed, tilled the garden (20 x 20 or so) three times over, spread corn gluten on the garden and the side 1/4acre, and installed some low voltage pathway lights on the front sidewalk im fucking beat
Today I started a dog house build, built two garden boxes, cut down a pear tree (with a fucking hand saw), raked up unwanted gravel and dug 8 post holes. I share your pain
Today I looked at the one side of my yard that still needs fenced, went back inside, went for a bike ride, and then had tex-mex and margaritas. Exhausted.
