We just got this one. It's a 44 and awesome. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Samsung-...-Door-for-Faster-Drying-DW80K7050US/300016895
Yeah I looked at some 44s but my kitchen and living room are separate enough that the extra volume wasn't a factor really. Caught a sale on a kitchenaid I was happy with
Assuming it's been mentioned that "that needed to be picked up" and your actions qualify for curing "needed repairs".
Nice work lechnerd. I'm prepping my wall right now for the brick. I'll be choosing between a few brick type this week.
5/8 inch I appreciate it. Have you decided what support (if any) you are going to use between your interior walls and the brick?
Impressive work, both the brick veneer and your posting. You bring some good stuff to this board, pal, and I appreciate it.
He needs a proper workspace to effectively troll the residents of Rock River Ranch. You can't be a world class troll from your mother's basement anymore.
Hell no if you like your job. What happens if he decides to stiff you. A coworker maybe but not a subordinate or boss. It probably would be fine but isn't worth the risk IMO.
He's a stand up guy. Always been really good to me. Not worried that he'd stiff me. I'd be more worried about doing it in a timely manner because I'd only be able to go on the weekends.
That is probably the worst case scenario. There is any number of situations that gets you anything from pissed off to mildly annoyed at your contractor. The difference is you contractor doesn't complete your performance review at the end of the year. If you happen to take the job I would charge him a premium for the work. If you don't want to do it then just price yourself out of the job. It could make it less awkward. If he still ends up going with you then you get to be the hero for coming in under budget.
It's for sure possible, especially if you go with someone smaller. Summer is by far the busiest season so winter could be looking to pick up work so willing to do it for cheaper.
I'm going to be so glad to never deal with this fucking HOA management company again. Here's their response to everything on the exterior. Trim shrub around exterior HVAC unit I will see if the landscapers to clean this up Replace HVAC drip pipe collar on back of home Anything dealing with the HVAC Unit is the responsibility of the homeowner per your covenants (Article VII Section 2 Maintenance and Repair) Rear Exterior door casing is rotting at the base of frame This is also the responsibility of the homeowner per your covenants (Article VII Section 2 Maintenance and Repair) Need drainage pipe for downspout on back of home as it is on another downspout I will drive out and take a look at this and get back with you. Flashing on the front roof of house seems bent and damaged I have the roofers who just installed the new roof looking at this Rear GFCI outlet is not working properly Again homeowner’s responsibility (same article and section) Water pressure at rear hose bib only 35 psi, needs to be at least 45 psi Consolidated Utility District controls line pressure. You will need to contact the water company Rear hose bib leaks at back flow preventer device I need more information on this can you tell me where this is located? I really like the "I will see if the landscapers will clean that up" Like bitch, it's your fucking landscaping company, just tell them "hey, trim the bushes around the HVAC units". So apparently the money we pay every month pays for insurance on the roofs, once every two week landscaping and that's pretty much it. And the landscaping isn't even well done. There's no pool, not community areas like BBQ areas or play areas, no fencing or gating. Literally insurance on the roofs and landscaping apparently is it. And of course they retain all the typical HOA rights to jack up fees, charge home owners for shit, etc. There's been a lamp that has been knocked down by either the landscapers or the roofing company for over a month and they haven't replaced it. My neighbor that just sold, his outside storage (part of the houses) was built too low to the ground so the bottom of the wood got ate up by the landscapers. HOA said it was his responsibility to fix. They get $75/month (plus the $250 fee every time a house sells) for 36 houses. I'm not sure how much the insurance costs them but I'm guessing they aren't hurting.
That's what I was thinking, I have no AC and summers here are getting brutal in August. I can make it the rest of the hot season if the prices will come down in winter. I would imagine that they can pretty much charge anything they want right now
Haven't read the thread in awhile so worry if this was addressed, but does anyone have experience painting a bathtub? I was looking at the kit from Home Depot ( http://www.homedepot.com/p/Rust-Ole...ub-and-Tile-Refinishing-Kit-7860519/202246270 ). Is it worth doing or should I just bite the bullet and get a new tub?
I renovated both of our bathrooms and one had the original cast iron tub from when the house was built ('58). It was in pretty bad shape, especially after the bathroom demo. We hired a guy for $300 and he did a great job re-finishing the tub. It looks brand new.
A buddy of mine owns Hard Tops. Quality shit. They might have a local guy that could do it http://www.hardtops.com/
I need a window latch like this but it needs to be 2 1/4" long and 1/4" wide. All the ones I have found at home depot and lowe's that are 1/4" wide are too damn long.
Do we have a consensus on roombas or other robot vacuums? I have hardwood on main floor and want something to sweep for me as I didn't keep up with it well at my current apt.
Just got covered by Allstate for a new roof...anyone have any advice / recommendations on a contractor in the Orlando area? Or better yet...shit I need to be aware of?
Also looking for recommendations son soundbars other than sonos, don't think I want to spend that much money for it when my main living space is all one room.
I found a BobSweep (bootleg Roomba) on sale for $200 and it has been great. They have a pet hair model that's perfect for us since our 2 dogs shed like a motherfucker https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/st...5U4rEwoXWxy-ebswzH6K_RhHAgq92bD8aArzDEALw_wcB
Saw them at Costco today. Same price but it came with 6 months of ApplePlay if that does anything for you.
Looking to finish 2 "bonus rooms" above a garage and master bedroom. I already had the drywall delivered when they did the rest of the house. Looking to start insulating once I finish wiring. I have no clue. How much and what R value should I be looking for? The rooms will be split into my office then a larger multi purpose room each with a ductless system.
Ok 1/4 acre lot. Thinking electric mower, weed eater, blower would be a good way to go. Growing up we had a gas lawnmore and electric corded weed eater. Thinking battery powered for all would be fine for me. Recommendations?
