A lot of people gave up on this show. Cant really blame them for how bad it got. Im glad I stuck it out. This season has been really good. Im also glad less people participate. Less idiots.
I think so. Saul was shocked, during the explosion and she was stone faced as if she knew it was coming. Im glad Saul isnt a dick, but shame on him for being blind to this. Not like him.
I thought Saul's was a fake reaction but they could have just blown up the plane without going through all that. Also can't believe they'd have Saul put a hit on Carrie and then Quinn, I'm sure they'll find some way for it to make some sense.
first impression was neither saul nor the redhead had anything to do with the plane blowing up. it would be a little too much of she ordered the hit on carrie, then quinn, and blew up a plane with a potential us backed syrian president.
With her assistance. Not sure if she's working for Mossad or getting different instructions from someone else in the CIA.
I don't like her. Or trust her. As someone alluded to Saul is getting soft if she is able to pull off this type of shit right under his nose.
Why do you say they may have it, they definitely have it. It's like the 3rd biggest storyline right now, not a big deal at this point.
I keep hoping that Saul is playing the game above the station chief's level and is working with Dar to set her up to reveal herself - but I think he's just after that firecrotch that has the added bonus of a security clearance.
He wouldn't have let her kill Carrie and Quinn if that was the case. I was switching between this and world series, who the hell was the guy following Quinn at the end? Need to watch the last 15 minutes again.
Just looking at the preview from next week, I really hope they don't try to make Quinn "flip" as a double agent/traitor (like Brody) because some guy saved his life.
Quinn has killed a lot of terrorists. They have to have figured out someone was out to get them in Germany. Maybe that's the connection?
Maybe. I'm not super comfortable with where Quinn's storyline is headed. That said, I think this season has been pretty good. I think Saul knows it's the redhead now, or is at least suspicious of her.
Talk about coincidences...a show about terrorism and spies has a gravely injured spy randomly get picked up and healed to health by a terrorist group in an allied country. It could happen.
No. I love Carrie feared for her life last week but now doesn't seem to care that she is putting herself out there.
At the end of this Saul better be knocked down off his high horse. His arrogance has caused this and allowed him to trust the biggest spy of all time.
Really enjoying this season so far. Hate that Carrie is trusting fire crotch but ready to see how it all plays out.
How many eps left? I kept waiting for Saul to go back into the bathroom when the day walker was having a breakdown and say got you bitch. Very uneasy feeling right now with every storyline. They cant all end up bad for the US, but damn if it doesnt feel like they are right now.
I believe that Saul has no idea she has been playing them all this whole time. I think that Saul's self confidence and arrogance has finally caught up to him.
carrie has to know, especially after the phone call where she answered the phone. i think she didn't tell saul because she doesn't trust him, yet. maybe him getting her the docs changed her mind.
Carrie doesn't know it's her that answered the phone does she? Unless she's REALLY good at reconizing voices and just off "hello". Plus if Carrie did recognize her voice, I think they would give the audience some indication that she did.
maybe not recognize her voice per se, but at least be wary of any female that works at the CIA berlin office?
The only way any of this makes sense is if Saul & Dar suspect her and are trying to draw her and her handlers out. 1. They know there is a leak at Berlin station 2. Syrian general blown out of the sky, which was closely held info 3. Someone put Carrie's name in the killbox for Quinn, no one but Saul was supposed to know about that 4. The original document leak was on her watch 5. She meets with Russian intelligence every 45 minutes if anyone bothered to monitor her By process of elimination, there aren't many other people it could be other than her. They have to suspect even if they can't confirm it. If they really are oblivious then it's terrible writing.
Not a big fan of that episode. Breaking the Russian spy through a screensaver seems pretty lazy. Why exactly did the terrorists take Quinn along if the plan was to go back to Berlin? Did the new leader think he was an obstacle in their way?
My DVr cut out after Quinn got hit in the head. What else happened? But yeah - I dont think we needed a whole episode to show us why/how she is working w the russians. Kind of a waste of an hour. (or 47 min for me)
Probably because she will have a redemption arc so they needed to setup why she flipped in the first place. Show is what it is at this point. Mindless and sometimes fun.
Good episode but I do agree it took awhile to get to the point. I don't believe Saul and Dal are in cahoots to draw the commies out. Would have been an easier way than all the things they've done so far. When all they had to do was put someone on the red head.
They went one step further... they put someone IN the red head. Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
So was there something in one of the earlier episodes that showed Alison's concern over the files in regard to the ones about Oriole? And if everyone was so concerned about Carrie digging into it, why didn't the Russians whack her back in Berlin? I know she went into hiding but they could have tracked her down.
1. I guess they need this aspect of the storyline to have a terrorist plot to thwart, but this Quinn storyline is pretty absurd. 2. LOL at Saul having to watch his chick get railed on the kitchen table. 3. If these dudes buy Alison's storyline, they should all no longer be allowed to call themselves the "intelligence" community.
