Brennan Armstrong on the sidelines, Gatorade cup in hand. Lemon lime. Drinking with his right hand. No signs of a refill coming anytime soon.
This is so hard to watch. Calling passing plays every down like they're down 40 with an awful passing QB
I’m not hopeful about any game left. The hoops squad is mediocre. Comcast still doesn’t have the ACCN. This is hell.
I was also encouraged by Wolfolk. He had some deer in the headlights moments, but so did Brennan in relief of Bryce. Tonight went about as expected, though I honestly expected some more tricks in our bag. We ended up having to go very vanilla on offense, I had thought we’d be trying all kinds of crazy shit.
Armstrong is a good college player. I think our fans overvalue or whatever how his game translates to the NFL. Hopefully, he returns next year.
i think he’s got the moxie folks like and a strong arm, but his throwing motion will have to be improved a lot. seeing the improvement from perkins just as a practice squad player leads me to believe armstrong could have a long backup career. seeing wolfolk throw last night like he was going through a pitching windup was hard to watch. the longest delivery.
Woolfolk has arm talent and some wheels, but you could see last night that he can’t take many hits. Not an awful start for a true frosh — a lot to work with and hopefully we don’t need him next year.
And while #20 didn’t look back last night, I thought the contact was nothing, it was nice to see a db running with a WR and not running after one.
i feel like jay leading the team in carries in that situation was a mistake. if ever there was a night for a more traditional game plan with hollins and darrington leading the way it was that one. it’s just not what we do though.
Weird details. 40-something guy stabbed to death by a 20-something guy, who immediately called to report himself? Very strange circumstances.
Christ, it’s been a while since I saw us on the defensive end and thought “We can’t hang with these guys”
These are my thoughts. Edit: He deleted it, but Zach Pereles tweet saying it was just the second time in 5 years we didn’t break 50, and that the ceiling isn’t particularly high for this team either.

Don’t know if that means anything is for certain today and take it fwiw.
