I had red wedding spoiled for me in like season 2 because I wanted to rewatch the king of the north scene so I typed robb stark on youtube and it filled "dies at red wedding" before the scene had even come out. Had me tight but learned to just avoid all social media if I didnt want spoilers

An episode that leaves 20 trails to tie up is very GRRMy. I'm going to have to rewatch that whole season in 2 years before the 3rd starts

 

Feels like everything was there this season to be epic and yet somehow they just didn’t pull it off at all. And fuck now we wait how dang long?

Feels like the goal of the show is not “Tell a great story” or “Entertain people” but instead “Create additional Game of Thrones Content.”

 

Underwhelming, maybe I’m misremembering but I thought the final 2 previews teased a dragon fight of some sort.

 

The pacing of the show is just absolutely terrible

That was a great episode. I can't wait to see what they do with it in the last two episodes of the season

 

they’ve kinda done that to season 1 rheanyra too

does anyone else think that the little girl from season 1 and this seasons version are totally different, night and day personalities. Season 1 Rhaenyra was a decisive badass who did what she wanted; this season 2 personality is like night and day…

maybe I’m the only one that feels this way?

 

This is the take. Was a good episode. Was a terrible Finale.

 

Gonna watch Mayor of Kingstown or at least part of it to fill my lust for blood, it never disappoints

 

outside of like 3 or 4 scenes this was a pretty terrible and underwhelming season

Seems to me like the first season was such a success that they decided they needed more seasons than originally intended. Absurd to have an entire season of build up

If you want to feel extra insulted, just remember all they tied up in six episodes of Season 8 of Game of Thrones and how little was done in eight episodes of Season 2 of this

 

I’m really annoyed with that finale, but I’ll take this 8 over that 6 all day.

We all might as well read the book. I still can’t get over that season. Some great acting, but man what a drag.

 

Read most of F&B a few years ago, but don’t remember exactly how the DoD ends. Starter to re-read a couple weeks ago, caught up to where the show is and decided to stop
