Astros are the Seattle World Series champions!
Never a doubt
14 in a row. And then get swept. This team is different. I’m almost tempted to hit up mattress Mack.
I was thinking the same. New bed sounds nice.
Hypothetically we trade for Josh bell. And go.
And we goin to the ship. Boom nailed it.
Yes yes yes. But what does that do to the lineup? You can’t take yuli off first right?
Dusty knows Presley is back, right? Should’ve taken out framber a lot sooner
Lol machete is a mood
God damn. Like two weeks of paternity leave? I feal like we could do better
This team is p good
You know it’s bad when the train guy is talking shit
walks kill sir, 2 straight 4-pitch walks with 2 outs, followed by a hanger right over the plate on a 1-2 count, not great Bob
Oh I saw
Also I was at the cellar. Home now.
Meyers now 4 for last 36, including 2 more Ks tonight, need him to turn things around soon, especially if Brantley is going to be out for a while.
Whats the deal with Uncle?
Hey we'll take it
no idea, it’s a shoulder, but Astros are so weird about injuries you never know what exactly the issue is
So it’s maternity
Think Dusty picked names out of a hat today
He want the sweep to happen?
Second time this hasn’t been remotely correct.
I just noticed that, kinda surprising to have Diaz hitting clean up
El Tiempo margs got me feeling some kind of way. No way the boys let me down tonight.
Is he back?
This is kinda interesting, better than the Yankees
Anything but the Yankees and dodgers
I don’t like that
For those of us not watching what happened?
I took it as not liking that Castillo is going to the Mariners
Ah ok good. I was worried because I saw all the pinch hitters and was worried someone got hurt.
Verlander gave up a run. What a bum! Booo
i was actually surprised that he was still in for the 8th, seems like a 10 run lead is safe for the guys who don’t pitch much ;)
Some crazy stats tonight...4-17 w/ RISP and 12 LOB…but scored 11 runs :)
Flew into town today > bought tickets for my first game since 2019 > caught a foul ball off Tucker’s bat
Fun evening of baseball
Great for him, such a good guy. Actually met him at one of the 2019 World Series games, just saw him walking the field level concourse during one of the games supporting his old teammates and he was super nice and took a pic with me. And I was in SD last April when he threw a no hitter but unfortunately wasn’t at the game.
He’s from that area and you can tell how much he loves the town and being able to play at home so my all of us on Astros text chain were pretty pumped for him when the news of his new deal was first making the rounds earlier this evening
congrats on the foul ball and that had to be a fun game to go to; I almost got my company’s tickets but let a close coworker take her kids and they had a blast not surprisingly, think they made it long enough to see at least 3 home runs.
and you should post in here more often btw
