thought it was pretty obvious since melisandre shows jon mance and tells him how she swapped him and rattleshirt.
I knew Mance was alive and I knew he was going after Arya with 6 spearwives, and yet I still didn't put two and two together with Abel and his 6 women.
I missed that and the Frey pie But I got that Rickon is (most likely) on Skagos Theon was gelded Arya poisoned the coin to kill that guy These three weren't understood by everyone, at least that's what I got from westeros.com
there's a chapter where theon is thinking to himself about how ramsay took his fingers and "The other thing" but changes his thoughts because he doesnt wanna think about it. assumed it meant his dick

Perhaps written by guys from the Nights Watch so they could see if Jon would sell them out and they would then murder him? Maybe that is why the guy who gave him the scroll was white....he knew they were plotting to kill Jon.
I could see it being fake but there were a few details in there that I don't think other people would know. Like Ramsay wanting his reek back and stuff. Although, I read one theory that it was Melisandre, whom I guess could know if she saw that stuff in her fires. Sucks we won't find out for a few years
the letter is undoubtedly from Ramsay imo. Reek/Theon is gone with Jeyne Poole the only person in the North that is known to be alive and could have possibly been friendly with Theon in the past is Jon. The whole realm knows he is the lord commander and that Stannis was posted up at the wall. Theon and fake Arya go missing, Ramsay just assumes they go north, not south and sends a letter to Jon to intimidate him.
Melisandre was complaining about how in her fires she was watching for Stannis but couldn't find him because of the blizzard and all she was seeing was Jon. I think the letter was legit like irush said. Ramsey just tortured Mance to get info about Stannis like about the magic sword, Val, and the Mance's son. He just assumed that Theon would flee north with who he thinks is Arya
