I give it an 8/10: QB Donovan McNabb, Phi QB RB Chris Johnson, Ten RB RB Brian Westbrook, Phi RB P [Breaking News] RB/WR Derrick Ward, TB RB P WR Andre Johnson, Hou WR WR Dwayne Bowe, KC WR [Breaking News] TE Zach Miller, Oak TE D/ST Vikings D/ST, Min D/ST K Stephen Gostkowski, NE K [Recent News] Bench Vincent Jackson, SD WR Bench Cedric Benson, Cin RB [Recent News] Bench Kevin Walter, Hou WR Bench Fred Taylor, NE RB [Recent News] Bench Percy Harvin, Min WR P [Recent News] Bench Shonn Greene, NYJ RB [Breaking News] Bench Michael Bush, Oak RB
Really like that team. If you could swing a deal for Shady McCoy to handcuff to Westy I'd give that team a 9/10. How many teams in the league? Westy, AJ, & Chris Johnson should all be gone by pick 15 at the latest.
really like your starters, especially at RB - I'm high on Derrick Ward and Dwayne Bowe as well this year - but the bench is a little shaky and you're definitely going to need to pick up another QB. how about mine - I had the #1 pick (which I hate) in a standard ESPN 10-man league... QB - Aaron Rodgers RB - Adrian Peterson RB - Steve Slaton RB/WR - Derrick Ward WR - Roddy White WR - Dwayne Bowe TE - Greg Olsen D/ST - Philly K - Matt Prater BN - Chester Taylor BN - LeSean McCoy BN - Rashard Mendenhall BN - Antonio Bryant BN - Lance Moore BN - Joe Flacco BN - San Diego D
Agreed...handcuffing is often worthless, imo...especially in this situation. If AP went down, they'd just get pass happy with Favre. Last year, having Taylor was smart, this year, you're better off just addnig a random rookie or 2nd-year RB with potential to breakout.
qb-palmer, trent edwards rb-LT, slaton, ray rice, sproles, lesean mccoy wr-boldin, colston, antonio bryant, anthony gonzalez, harvin, maclin(how is maclin doing, eagles never have WR's and i saw him late so i took a chance) te-tony gonzalez d-cowboys k-saints kicker
No need for a backup TE. He can drop whoever is not producing for a 1-week fill-in on Gonzalez' bye week. You're always better off having a top tier TE, no backup and using that extra roster spot for a 1st or 2nd year RB who may blow up.
drafted 9th in a 10 team league.......kinda wanted to do something different than what i usually do and picked WR's with my first 2 picks QB: Philip Rivers RB: Pierre Thomas RB: Darren McFadden RB/WR: Steve Smith WR: Larry Fitzgerald WR: Calvin Johnson TE: John Carlson K: Mason Crosby DEF: Eagles Bench QB: Jake Delhomme.......i kno he sucks RB: Ray Rice, Beanie Wells, Chester Taylor WR: Vincent Jackson, Bernard Berrian, Donnie Avery thinking I could trade a WR for a RB
I like it. 10 team league so most teams will be good, but you have a chance to break away from the pack and that's all you can ask for. I'd be shocked if some combination of two of your RBs don't have huge years. Studly production guaranteed from the WR spot and serviceable QB and TE. This looks like a team I would draft, so I say its awesome.
Agreed...I wouldn't be shocked if he finished in the top 4-5 at the TE position. I think you can pencil him in for the 6-10 range pretty easily. Yeah, a tad bit. I'm old (32) and started playing back in the mid early 90s with my friend's family. Back then we were doing it on paper every week and checking box scores in the newspaper for stats on Monday mornings.
