Was thinking about this and curious how dedicated we are to US soccer, think we have a pretty varied array of soccer fans in general. Poll is just men’s but also interested in USWNT games. Not had many chances in ATL, excited about tonight. Mine: WCQ against Guatemala in BHAM 2005 WCQ against Canada in Nashville 2021 Tonight against Panama
Once. It's was against Brazil in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics at Sanford Stadium. If you look back at that Brazil squad it was loaded with future stars.
3: 2014 WC send off v. Nigeria 2015(?) GC semifinal v. Jamaica. The one we lost and it sucked. 2021 WCQ v. Canada
I feel like I'm missing one but twice at the Cotton Bowl, twice at AT&T Stadium, and once in Nashville Edit: dammit yes I also went to the last WCQ in Costa Rica
A few times but none worse than taking a party bus to see US-Mexico WCQ in Columbus with @ohaithur and Druce . Not only did they lose but we had to tailgate with SugarShaun beforehand and got legitimately blackout drunk.
1. Friendly against Iceland at the Galaxy’s stadium. Absolutely poured the first half so there was basically no crowd. A lot of people missed out on USMNT legend Steve Birnbaum scoring in the 90th minute to secure the 3-2 win
I would need a Wikipedia page of matches played because I can’t remember but as long as we’re counting friendliest I put down 10 plus. It’s somewhere in 10-15 range and I’m super spoiled because I’ve never traveled more than 30 minutes to see one. Seen the ladies twice but it’s been a good 5+ years. Every match has been at children’s mercy though so I’m excited to watch them in an actual stadium at Arrowhead on Monday.
USMNT: 4 USWNT: 2 (would've been more if they didn't play like dogshit in Australia...I had tickets to their whole bracket)
Started drinking waaaaayyyyyy too early for that one. Was hot AF that weekend too. Remember doing all the Independence Hall touristy stuff the next day with a top 3 hangover. Do not recommend. Also saw them at RFK against Peru in 2015 and Germany in 2013 in friendlies.
Is the game Magic gave my ticket to some chick he was trying to bang? Because I’m counting that as a half.

My friend that drove up with me spilled a beer. I can’t recall if it was on her, Druce’s wife or both. I was embarrassed
Ahh. Gotcha. Sadly I am not much of a drinker and probably haven’t been drunk in 15 years so I remember it
