Second year being tagged. One side is probably either asking for too much or not negotiating at all or the other being too cheap. We've got room, hope it isn't us. Not sure if maybe he just doesn't want to be here long term
Sounds like they’re working on an extension, not sure there’s anywhere near the drama you’re thinking
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...otball-team-agree-free-agent-deal-source-says Signing Fitzpatrick probably means they will go hard after a WR in free agency. Easier to sell a vet QB to a top guy.
We have a legit roster minus QB, unless Heinecke can actually consistently play like he did last year which pretty much everyone doubts All 3 signings have been smart moves, let's hope it continues.
Qb situation is desperate. Next years draft doesn’t look good for one. Wonder if we get bold and tried to trade up or offer up everything for Watson.
I'll just get this out of the way. Samuel is going to be a great signing. The Corner is solid, and Fitz is fine for the price as a stop gap. They still have plenty of money. I'll wait to see how the rest plays out, but this team is already better than what they had on the field last season. It feels weird feeling optimistic about the direction of this team, but here I am.. Extremely excited how this team is trending. Now finish the job....
i feel like after the guys projected as top 10's you'd be just as likely to hit with Mond or Buechele later in the draft.
I kind of agree. After the top 4 guys, it's complete crap shoot. Jones scares me b/c we fucking love Bama players and outside of maybe accuracy he's meh after that. He's an unathletic statue QB of a few decades ago, doesn't really have a strong arm. I think he could be an average QB, but why would we trade up and give up multiple picks for average? We need a QB so bad though. CBS had a mock with Jones going in the 20s to the Saints. So maybe we can stay where we are and get him (I'd rather take the LT from VT)
Hot takes I like Jarrett Patterson Heinecke should be given a chance to see if he’s the guy. Sick of Dustin Hopkins, enough accepting his mediocrity
My only two reactions to the 10 mins I watched were “chase young is still a beast” and “Hopkins is still here?”
They’re absolutely pathetic, keep finding new ways to not make a stop Just had a guy dead to rights 3 yards short and let him plow through 3 defenders
And he got the first down. That’s when I handed the remote to the kids and went to fold the laundry. Better ways to spend my Sunday afternoon.
Holy shit heinecke that was one of the more impressive incompletions I’ve ever seen. Should’ve been sacked twice
Do I sit down and watch today? Fine. First play 3rd and 3 with a simple toss for first down… right thru Seals Jones hands. And we’re off…
Maybe time off will get his head right, idk. Something was off with him this year and he was not very good. Might need to get his upper body a bit stronger
He did and he got the win. But he did dump off after dump off and Tampa didn’t adjust. And it seems he’d rather take a sack then throw the ball away when outside the pocket.
Don’t care anymore. DC Commanders isn’t bad but not the team I grew up cheering for. Snyder shouldve just sold the team and have it moved with a new beginning. but if they somehow work in a cobra into the design, I’m back on board
Talked myself into “the commanders”. Then I saw the uniforms. That some under armor looking shit. Can’t believe they had people work on that for years and came up with this atrocity
On the 8th month anniversary of the last post in this thread… felt it’s time to let people know. We suck. Again.
It’s painful, Rivera deserves to be fired for sticking with Del Rio and the offensive line is a disaster Should be 0-4
