Making a thread for the people watching Channel 4's broadcast. Note that AMC is two weeks behind so if you are watching on AMC this thread will have spoilers.
so the guy trying to chase down mia(anita), is a synth too right? he had to get a charge in the bathroom, but doesn't have green eyes. is he like a new age of robot guys? and can we get more hot blonde murderous robot ladies?
Sounds like he was the creators son who died. Guess he brought him back to life by making him a cyborg of some kind.
My thoughts as well. I think maybe they were a group if friends that died in an accident or something. Also LOL at the son saying no to the girl at the party because. What teenage boy passes that up? Hope he finds out dad banged Anita. That would be funny. As a more general note, I love this show. It's probably my fave going right now w Halt and Catch Fire. I look more forward to this than any other right now.
Blew my mind how the dad left the adult option pamphlet thing with the rest of the instructions. Gotta hide that shit.
This continues to be good. I'm horrible with names but I'm wondering how the female synth detective that's a synth fits in. She's doesn't seem to be sabotaging the investigation and is even trying to solve it. Best new show since Les Revenants so far for me.
She's playing the long con imo. There is some kind of underground synth movement that we aren't aware of yet.
This is a solid story so far. Loved the scene going over the digital memories to lay out the story of the main synths. Curious about the detective synth and where she fits into the story. So Leo still ages right?
I need to watch it again. I watched so late at night, I was half falling asleep, but really wanted to get it in. Could you walk me through Lee's genesis story? I know he died and his father DL'd and digitized his memories. But as far as his physical body goes, did his father keep it and turn it into a kind of a human/synth hybrid? Is that why you asked if he can still age? Also loved the conversations between George and Niska. It's so deep. What it means to actually be human, and feelings/emotions. Her starting to understand that was great, and subtle.
Damn, a lot going on. I'm loving this show. Sad that next week is already the season finale. They better renew this show or I'll riot* *post angry shit on the Internet
Liked S02E01. Looking forward to tonight's episode. I absolutely loved S01. I hope they can keep it going. It's hard with these type of shows where there's so much mystery in S01 with a big question, and now that the cat is out of the bag, it keep the stakes as high and keep it going.
Welp Also glad Niska called bullshit on that whole legal process. That whole plot line was dumb. Why would the just decide to try her as a human? Would think that would take some legislation. Know that's overly nitpicky but it was bothering me.
Thi show is hard to watch without subtitles. Attempted to watch season 2 but just can't do it, simply can't understand what some of these people are saying. Will wait for AMC to start airing it in 2017.
Some of those actors do not speak very clearly, add that in with the British accents and it's not the easiest English to understand.
I often have trouble understanding some British shows. Peaky Blinders for one. I have no problem with Humans.
Another good season. Haven't seen anything about a 3rd season. That was a good series ending point if they're isnt another one. If there is, so many places you can go. Would be cool if we skipped ahead a few years
Season 3 was solid. The finale was insane. Hope they pick it up for a 4th, but understand if they don’t
I enjoyed this season. I was kind of hoping it would suck so I could eliminate a show, but it was really good
I thought for sure AMC would keep it running, very surprising. Big mistake, a mid-size network shouldn't be cancelling high quality shows like these.
