Huntsville is fun to watch. Up and down and relentless pressure for 40 minutes. Hope they make it to face Baker.

Philon is really, really good. Hazel Green had him doubled the entire game as soon as he touched the ball and he still scored nearly 30 and don't think he played at all in the 4th.

Most likely, yes. That airport is usually a breeze. Honestly don’t remember ever waiting more that 10 minutes or so.

Cotton Row is "nicer" than Domaine, but I have preferred the food at Domaine lately.

All the above suggestions are great except Commerce Kitchen. It’s kinda sucked the past few times I’ve gone.

Been wanting to go to Amerigo sometime. Going to check out that bakery around Lincoln Mill this weekend. Fusion over there at Lincoln Mill is really good too! Kind of expensive but w/e

 

Char steaks sucks. They’re basically Truman steaks. I don’t know why that place is so popular.

How are Ubers from the amphitheater? Looking at coming for Phish this summer.

 

There will be a wait but it won’t be anything too crazy. I’ve had luck walking a few blocks away from the venue and calling from there.

 

$100 to get an Uber from the amphitheater or walk 2 blocks to Havertys grab a couple of balloons and the Uber will be $50

 

Try to stay at the Westin. It's only a short uber from the amphitheater.

Price surging was bad last summer. If you're staying close to downtown, I bet it'd be close to $100 after a show.

Fwiw the rtj courses in north Alabama are way better than the tracks in Birmingham

 

Anything casual. Places to get good food and a beer and maybe watch games. Open to anything really. Cajun gas station sounds like my exact style.

These places look amazing.

 

Campus 805 is probably a good bet for that kind of weekend. A few breweries, restaurants, and bars built in and around an old middle school. Downtown I’d check out the Poppy, Phat Sammy’s, Jack Browns, Esquina, or Moes. The Martin is a great place to watch the games and pretty decent bar food. Stovehouse may be worth checking out too. I can give you some nicer places too if y’all decide you want to do that.

Great info. Thank you. I'm not sure where we are staying. I generally plan everything but am refusing this year because the guys always complain about me choosing nice places to stay and amazing restaurants. (Cheap bastards)

 

I definitely recommend a hotel downtown. There’s hotel close to the golf courses but y’all won’t want to be stuck out there.

 

Is that the old school with straight to ale? I went there last time I visited Huntsville and that’s a cool space if so.
