52-76 in conference, 1 NCAA, 2 NITs in 7 years. He was a slight upgrade over Sadler. He finished 13th in conference in year 7 and is now coaching at San Jose State, he sucks.
Should have been 2 NCAAs. We got hosed that year. If you ask what a successful coach at Nebrasketball looks like though, that's pretty much the resume but win an NCAA game.
Also you can't really compare Sadler and Miles. Since we've joined, the B1G has been a much more difficult conference top to bottom in basketball than the Big 12 was.
People forget the division 2 roster Miles had in year 7 while completely dropping the ball recruiting the metro.

Yep. Like many other coaching decisions here, it wasn’t the firing decision that was bad it was the hiring decision/result. If Hoiberg did what we all expected when he got hired (aka replicated Iowa State success) we wouldn’t be longing for Miles.
I still think Fred gets at least one more year no matter what at this point, barring some major off the court scandal.

Surgeon said it was one of his toughest surgeries he’s done but I don’t know shit. Hoping to have my mobility and strength back by late April so I can start golfing again.

That sounds promising. I would definitely recommend telling your PT up front that your goal is to golf by late April. If they are good, they will be honest with you about whether that is realistic and if so, gear your therapy at least partially toward specifically accomplishing that goal.
That’s the plan, the doc wasn’t concerned so much about strength as he was mobility which makes sense. I’m in Iowa at the moment so I’ll start PT here and then move it to Denver in a couple weeks. I’m sure their PTs are better than small town Iowa. I’ve been doing 3 mobility exercises all day, but overall despite being a diabetic I think recovery is going smooth. The first week after surgery I couldn’t get enough hydros, now I don’t even take advil or tylenol, virtually no pain, just stiff as fuck.
Physical therapy is so key. I tore my Achilles tendon a few years back and thankfully (bc of a lot of PT) have really great mobility/strength. Best of luck.

Nothing wrong with Mormons, unless they plan on taking their mission, then unless they are can’t miss talent, otherwise in todays game, can’t afford to take players that could take that long to contribute.
