It doesn’t matter how good of a play caller you are, nobody is going to pay a coordinator $1.5m if they’re not actually doing the whole job. Would expect they’ll be able to come to some sort of agreement that makes sense for all involved

Did anyone figure out why Fickell went for 2 when trailing 20? How is a 12 point game more advantageous than 13 in that situation? They weren’t kicking 4 FGs. All he did was risk making it a 14 point game where 2 TDs w/ XPs don’t win you the game. Was it simply he realized he fucked up not going for 2 when down 24? Neither of those decisions made any sense.
Literally any college kid that grew up playing madden could handle that and clock management better than a lot of coaches. Wouldn’t even have to pay them, they’d do it just so they could stand on the sideline.
