Pretty sure Blye forced the fumble before half, also got torched on the deep ball. Hopefully some of the twitchier youths develop otherwise I would want 2-3 portal players.
Giff may have played that bomb correctly based on the call, if so it was a dumb call, because he was deep middle and went up on a crossing route and vacated exactly where Anthony caught the post
Yeah I think Gifford made the initial tackle and Hill came in and his helmet hit the ball out from behind the runner.
Full year of holgo with DR, Barney, Nelson, our RB room which now looks quite decent, a newcomer or two like Mozee, and a not shitty transfer WR who might be more enticeable with a guy like holgo around sounds fuckin awesome. Defense will unfortunately only be marginally better having to replace our giant whites
The Booth boy's film is quite comical. That's what happens when you have a large fast kid play against shitty small schools in Nebraska my goodness
Like it's hard to tell if he's good at breaking tackles because most of the time he's just outrunning everyone
That’s how I felt watching Carter Nelson last year. He either ran by everyone or no one could tackle him. He looked like a create a player because of the size difference.
Obviously the stakes are much higher but I’ve always found it weird these people treat DT like he’s their favorite sports team with all the weird “merch” they have. The other day I was walking my dog and saw some dork wearing a Trump shirt. All I could see is Trump in big font and a picture of the electoral map. So apparently someone is making a shirt equivalent to what you’d buy after your team wins a title. Just complete losers.
Rewatched some of the game and Nate Boar Catcher is so much more athletic than the ghost of Thomas Fidone's knees. How has it taken that long to bench Fidone? He fuckin stinks.
Not at the level I’ve been calling for more EJ, but I’ve always thought at the very least he LOOKS like a better player than Fidone. 1. He looks like a TE 2. He doesn’t look like he’s running in mud while wearing stilts.
I’m listening to Schick and Nick, they just played a clip from post-Wisconsin where Dean read a question from “Mike Hawk”
I just really don’t understand why we have to live under the thumb of what Fidone could have been he has completely shattered knees in quick succession it happens, welcome to a D1 athletic career. Play the guys who can actually move laterally
I know I could Google it but with the new 105 man roster limit, does that mean you have 85 scholarships and 20 walk-on/NIL guys?
Looks like 105 is the max for all FBS schools, but schools could decide to remain below that if they want. From some article I found on 247 The 85-scholarship cap is removed. Schools are now allowed to give out up to 105 football scholarships. Football is now an equivalency sport – all sports will be under the new rules – and longer a head-count sport, meaning the school is no longer required to give full scholarships to each player receiving aid. That means football programs can split scholarships if they choose to, like you see in sports like baseball. The 105 roster limit is firm, which will result in many programs having to greatly reduce their roster sizes while endangering a lot of walk-on programs.
we could be pretty filthy on the edge on third down if we keep everyone princewill Jimari Shavers Baby McGahee J Williams
Didn't realize Butler had another year. That's good. He's a v good leader if only a solid/unspectacular DE.
need to portal in a couple big old hog DTs though. RVP should be good and Jeudy is average if he's back but Vincent Jackson and Sua Lefotu don't inspire much confidence.
Schedule next year will be interesting. First time no OSU for seems like the entire time in the Big Ten. Most games are still TBD on dates. 8/30-Cincinnati - Indianapolis 9/6-Akron - Lincoln 9/13-Houston Christian (what is a Houston Christian?) - Lincoln Iowa - Lincoln Michigan - Lincoln Michigan St - Lincoln Northwestern - Lincoln USC - Lincoln @Maryland.- College Park Minnesota @Penn St @UCLA
Heard he'll be putting off ACL surgery until after rasslin' season which I'm ok with. A chance to be an undefeated 4x HW champ is an unreal accomplishment. And I'm a pumpkin pusher.
