Idk if involves paying anyone but I’m certainly not close to it. I imagine it’s more like Raiola going to the high schools he went to. Back channel communication like “hey this team has a stud let’s reach out to him and get all the best kids here.” I think a lot of the time it also involves peer recruiting. If a team has a core of dudes and they start reaching out to other great players in the area it’s hard to turn down. Like IMG but for the state/region
Westside was the same way a few years ago to a lesser degree. Millard South this year might be the best team there’s ever been in Nebraska
High level, I’m not sure it will be debatable if they keep this up. Whether you look at on the field results or guys with FBS offers. Last I saw they’re “ranked” #19 in the country too which I’m not sure if that matters but still. IIRC a lot of the recent really good teams had a random close game mixed in there, these guys are up 50 at half every week. I guess you could argue week to week competition is easier if you assume a few top teams are kind of hoarding all the talent.
I saw someone else mention this and for a minute I did think hey maybe there’s something to that but then I remembered he’s like 0/5 on underhand passes.
What happens if every team on their schedule bans together to forfeit their own game with Millard South? Does it send a message to the NSAA how out of control the situation has become?
Libs would rather quit than take their beatings like a MAN - smdh exactly what’s wrong with this country
Idk what will happen to Nebraska high school football but I know in the last couple years there’s been significant conversation from quite a few schools athletic departments to leave the NSAA. Mostly from schools that would be lower class A and upper class B iirc.
Whole thing is really fucked up when the downstream effect is random small schools all over the state being unable to field teams and kids who just want to play football in high school can’t
5:20 mark it’s actually nice to see there wasn’t a ton of panic or at least it appears that way at half. I think the clip of Singleton is why Rhule said they plan for a battle every week (even though our idiot fans took that as him saying he wants every game to be close). Same with Raiola and Holg telling the O to reset and get ready for the second half.
I'll tell you what's bananas, that the gal from No Doubt turned out to be a chud. Related: the donkey kong games on, what, would it have been N64? were very fuckin good
I know it's Buttgers but not mad that we're missing playing that Washington Husky QB this year. Almost 550 yards total offense tonight.
Illinois playing like shit. Low snap on a punt, punter fielded it with a knee down. Turnover on downs with a 8-10 yard loss is not ideal
