The latest Chasing 3 had features on Tommi Hill and Jamari Butler, will be rooting hard for those guys. Rah’ is another one I’d love to see at least have a couple big moments. Ty Robinson too. Basically anyone who’s stuck it out at this POS program and is actively trying to right the ship is getting some built up equity in my book. Probably helps this staff is a lot easier to root for than the last one but it’s nice to not be completely annoyed with the roster.
Malachi the best on the team? I’m not sure about that. Obviously I’m not watching practices but Lloyd seems like he’s further ahead and even more natural catching.
Coleman is most welcome to be the best player on the team, but man what is that even based on in July of 2024?
I think you can do the “hard sell” plus another action. I think somewhere on the screen (right side) it shows you potential impact it can make based on how many green arrows there are. Probably a better question for the NCAA thread though. Some people in there seem to have it all figured out.
That thread moves so fast. I’ve looked on Reddit too and it doesn’t seem like anyone has a good answer.
I skimmed a couple videos real quick no one really answered it, but it seemed like most people were adding a 5-10 hour action with the “hard sell”. I’d guess it can’t hurt if you have hours to spare.
This is not directed toward anyone in the topic. Following the moves of high school kids, even freshmen in college, is super weird. Super weird.
oh yikes i dont think I wanna see that video but if the kid likes it I guess I’m glad we have a bunch of weirdies
I think following children’s movement is extraordinarily weird. I also think it’s weird how much you want to fight.
I don’t follow recruiting much anymore because of how often kids change their minds and with the movement of the program the past few years it just harder to get into recruiting
I think it’s weird how bad your takes are. You realize you post on a board where the vast majority of posters came from a recruiting message board right?
and this is a very reasonable and good take. Not the guy thinking it’s weird when people are talking about 5*’s visiting
Quit your gaslighting. This board is 15 years old. What’s happening in modern college football is not remotely close to 15 years ago. And we’ve all aged 15 years. That’s damn near a generation. Get it? They are a generation younger than you now. If they say they’d like to accept payments to play football at Nebraska, cool, that’s good news when they actually appear on roster. Showing up on a college campus to catch a look at a high school kid is unequivocally weird, particularly if you are old enough to reference the board that preceded TMB. Go be angry, weirdo.
are you talking about recruiting in general or people going to the stadium to see a recruit? Get off your high horse, “following” recruiting is seeing shit posted on twitter or any nebraska sports site. Must find it really weird that people are willing to pay these children and watch them play sports too huh? Fucking creep.
The programs that make money off athletes should be paying the athletes directly, not collectives or individuals. So, in my opinion, yes it’s weird.
If I had crowds of people cheering for me as a high school athlete that would have been pretty cool. A lot of people like feeling like a celebrity. If these people showing up helps us land this guy, I’ll be happy. I’d never ever get off my couch to be one of the weirdos there cheering for him. But like someone earlier said, I’m glad those weirdos exist.
I see, you’d rather see these young black children not get paid unless it’s by the universities. All makes sense now! that’s sarcasm, don’t get too offended
I recall the excited cheers of the crowd as a HS football player being quite an enjoyable experience Spoiler The cheers as Joe Thomas once again yeets my ass into the sun on a toss sweep
I think following recruiting is fine but like many I don’t do it nearly as closely. and I’m into lots of shit weirdly but it’s no longer the whims of hs kids. but yeah you’re a real true believer if you’re showing up for that kid’s arrival and it’s quite weird but more power to em gbr
Grown men acting exceptionally weird about hs kids is the foundation upon which this program was built
This is me. With Nebraska being terrible combined with recruits changing their mind, the portal, all the other stuff it’s just not really worth spending too much time on. When a guy commits I might check his page and offers just to see but it’s so hard to follow and half the time the guys don’t end up doing anything for us so who cares until they’re on the roster.
Any mitts yet or what? Last time I was in Portugal we landed Raiola and I was fucking smashed (takes like 3 beers for that to happen vs a oz of weed) Let’s do something here.
My "I DO NOT TRACK THE ACTIVITIES OF MINORS" shirt is leading people to ask a lot of questions answered by my shirt. In fact when athletes age 17 or younger appear at the Olympics I change the channel.
I know that guy well. Scrolling his twitter account it’s probably not a surprise he’s a big goober but a great dude.
RonBurgundy will give free toilet seat covers for life to any cruit willing to snowshoe to his outpost north of the wall!!
Just spitballing here but maybe we get some TRUE husker doctors to give prescriptions to recruits for common ailments like low testosterone and trouble focusing on schoolwork/playbook and pain management and REAL husker pharmacists fill those prescriptions for the TEAM. I think we could close the loop right here in the thread!
Looks like puddles or quackers or whatever is visiting all his new conference mates as a social media stunt.
I agree but it should be just slightly easier to do this as our depth improves. They gave Sims a chance to play through his turnovers last year, and when they finally found out he had terminal fumbleitis, they did eventually bench him. Us fans didn’t realize until later that the reason they were really hoping he’d figure it out is because the QB position was absolute garbage. I’m optimistic at that position, and the rest of the skill positions, were better off but that’s just my typical preseason optimism.
Rhule said in Indy they're going to pick a QB and let him play through it (though I imagine that has a ceiling). I'd imagine Satt's talking more about backs and receivers where drops and deflections lead to picks.
I was being sarcastic and making fun of the coach speak. Of course we are gonna let Raiola play. As long as he isn't Luke McCaffrey under center he will play.
