Based on the NIT bracket, this is going to end up being like five teams from the B10 and B12, a few from Big East…then probably like UNLV and Nevada due to proximity. We’ll end up losing to a bunch of bad B10 teams that we already played.
I know it’s an easy joke to make since Nebrasketball sucks but seeing that NIT bracket is kind of sad that it’s turned into another CBI type tourney at least for this year. I saw The Crown was essentially created by Fox to feature the B10, B12, Big East teams given their TV contracts. So just another stupid thing these TV deals have created.
The sports world won't soon forget the 2017-18 Nebraska men's basketball team. Going to be adapted to film.
lol it was pretty big fuckery they didn’t make it in after finishing 4th in the B10 that year. Always assumed if we had a “name” they would have thrown us a bone, which was confirmed yesterday basically.
I like that Fred is playing in the postseason, basically, just for the hell of it. Nothing to gain with a roster full of players that will not be there next season. A COVID Nebraska football team didn’t take the same opportunity because they and their coach were losers.
I knew they were bad but didn’t realize they were 13-19. Surprised they even agreed to enter. Guess a free trip to Vegas sold them. They were 10-3 on January 4th so 3-16 since…
Yeah, been without power since about noon in Gretna. OPPD reporting over 92K without power, so they’re like halfway to where they were with that big July storm. That storm I think we were out of power for 3.5 days, I hope it’s not that long but I’d imagine they won’t be able to do much until 6-7pm at the earliest. Fiancé having flashbacks to us passing on a hotel, until they were all sold out lol so she’s trying to talk me into that. Just sucks to have to pay almost double because of our dogs.
Probably saw like 5-6 power lines at a 45 degree angle from 192nd street to the interstate on Highway 370…OPPD was working to stand a couple up but that isn’t inspiring lol
Yes actually came back on late last night. Looks like there will be a few power lines that need some reinforcement but hopefully that happens before another wind storm. Even this morning some of the wires had a thick coating of ice around them. The Cabellas in La Vista right off I-80 had about 100+ trucks from out of town parked there so hopefully it’s all hands on deck for the remaining 30K still down.
