I have a video on my phone of the dude surrendering and being arrested from the adjacent parking lot but no idea how to post it here. A police officer buddy of mine was one of the first to respond said it was an awful scene, but couldn’t go into details. Right now there’s a lot of focus on the uhaul truck and it’s significance to the shooting. Maybe a diversion to get the employees to come outside.
I’m not sure if this link will work, but listen to this caller around the 2:30 mark. Specifically the reference about Frost and his bros sharing Skoal and rubbing each other down in a sauna (LOL)....then listen to Benning’s reaction. Super bizarre. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podca...skas-performance/id1269226374?i=1000499935298
The guy’s call is hilarious TBH, but it’s such a weird thing to mention then Benning is just like “wait...do you know people?”
Frost said NU's current quarterbacks "both have enough talent to be" like Marcus Mariota and McKenzie Milton, but they hadn't reached their potential yet... that comment alone should get him fired.
Most teams celebrate wins on Saturday night. It’s been so long for us, we celebrated all week apparently.
Posted this yesterday I think, but I have a feeling this could be the result of everyone (coaches, fans, etc) constantly saying all we need is one win, all we need is to turn the corner. As much as I thought that might be the case, it seems like that mindset either creates un-needed pressure to win or a false sense of accomplishment surrounding one game.
Didn’t you just buy a house, pretty sure there is plenty of stuff to do around your house. I always have a list and would rather accomplish something positive than watch this dumpsterfire of a program
It's a lame take I guess but I don't like Frost having a lipburger on the sidelines either. I'm a little bitch though.
Honestly if Suh was HC I feel like he would just completely annihilate every player coming in psychologically ala Alfred Hitchcock or Stanley Kubrick and Nebraska would be the most fundamentally sound team or they'd be attacked by birds literally. Bring him in.
We really fucking suck at football but we're growing mustaches so idk how everyone else defines success but I'd say we're on the right path
Jesus fuckin Christ, so damn tired of these morons talking about science and masks as if they’ve ever passed a science class on their own.
I have a list of 20+ things I need to do that's on my fridge. Doesn't make me do them though. Instead I just grab a beer and go back to playing video games. I really wish I would have bought a condo or into a neighborhood that did all your landscaping/pool/etc. Could just pay someone to do them, but I'm cheap.
lol yeah unfortunately me attempting to do any handy work/home improvement would be a worse result than watching Nebraska football.
I'm a real Bob Vila up in here. Actually that's not true at all but Tess and I very much enjoy landscaping and making little improvements to our house. She paints anything she can swing a brush at. I've changed every light fixture in our house and it still hasn't burned down so.
I love fixing things and working on things myself. Wherever I can save money I will at least try it, there’s a YouTube tutorial for almost anything you want to do. I hate spending money on something I know I can do myself.
As I’ve said in the homeowner thread, 99% of the time the issue is I don’t have it in me to commit to trial and error because in the back of my mind whatever I mess up will somehow be irreversible damage and my house will decrease in value by 80%. Even though that’s very unlikely, it still just gives me more anxiety than enjoyment. That said, when I have tried something and not messed up the relief when I finish is nice.
I'm a guy who can replace stuff that's already been installed by disconnecting and reconnecting but not about to be building things on my own. Like, I've replaced light fixtures and faucets and light switches but won't be framing anything at all.
I wouldn't consider myself handy, but I've done a lot of things myself. Wiring and hanging a chandalier, building a deck, building cool mobile tree planters for lemon tree, tiered herb garden, etc. Youtube makes all things possible. I just get tired of doing the same mow/trim/clean pool(4x) every week. And stuff in Florida grows 10x faster than what I remember in Nebraska. I have to trim our palms every month otherwise they look like shit. The few trees we have grow like weeds and have to be trimmed monthly as well. Example of tree planter box: Herb Garden Planter:
We need to redo our deck. I was thinking of leaving the footings and just replacing the planks. Is that reasonable IYO?
I've found I'm decent at fixing shit too but I'm not a builder. Have any of you reached the level of your dad? My dad could build shit and fix shit and all sorts of things that I'm absolutely clueless on.
I don't think I'll ever reach that level. Idk if they learned it bc they were so bored they figured stuff out, or if I'm just lazy (likely). I remember rebuilding tractors and hay racks as a kid, but I retained ZERO. I probably could change the oil in my car if I watched a Youtube Video, but if I had to do it with zero research before, I'd be screwed.
I tried to install a bidet. Couldn't get it to seal right and it kept leaking. We called a plumber because we had other issues and I ended up replacing the whole toilet.
I installed a bidet back in April when I got annoyed of having to go to 3 places for tp. Took 10 mins, no issues. Might be best purchase of the year. I got this one.
Anyone want to give me a brief rundown of our Nebrasketball roster? I've only loosely paid attention. Just like who's supposed to be good and whatnot
Since you want to bring up the past and drag this program back down, I’ll reluctantly answer. We lost to UC Irvine as 15.5pt favorites and North Dakota as 9pt favorites.
