Can any of you husks still living in the motherland go tell the government to stop trying to pull a fascism and change our electoral college rules in the home stretch?
Dad$krt informs me we are 50 ft above sea level. Looked around for the sun when determining whether train was east or westbound
I told my wife during the game Saturday that if we won by 30 she could buy is flights to see NU v USC. Anyone else heading out?
First: Washington State 95 - went down 7-0 and then rolled. Ahman Green as a true freshman carried the whole defense on his back without going down and they blew it dead and he was furious Favorite: KSU 99 - obliterated them the year after Crouch's head was almost removed. That 99 defense was absurd Most painful: Oklahoma State 07 - ten year anniversary for the natty and they just got boat raced out of the stadium Best single moment: Colorado 08 - Henerey/Suh finale was amazing Favorite companion: Took the wife and kids to the UTEP game this season, my 5 year old was just enthralled, it was great
First: North Texas 1993 Favorite: K State 1995 Most Painful: Mizzou 2008 Best Single Moment: Maybe lining up to punt w/o Foltz? Favorite Companion: Nephew
First: 2001 TCU Favorite: 2010 Missouri Pain: 2006 Texas Favorite Moment: Prince INT against OU in 2009 Favorite Companion: dad
First: 1995 against Arizona State Favorite: Missouri 2010 - Roy goes off for 300+ Most painful: Most of the 2007 home games as a freshman Best single moment: Suh bouncing Cody Hawkins off his thigh Favorite companion: brother
If I’m Bert I’m running Altmeyer or at least getting him out of the pocket. If you let our interior DL make it a one dimensional game (I don’t think IL backs will run the ball well at all) our guys will just tee off on obvious passing situations. You let Altmeyer use his legs it gets interesting. If you don’t it’s gonna be tough. Offensively idk we will see with our line. They’re improved but have sometimes struggled to consistently run the ball in situations where you just want to be able to run it.
First: 95 season… I was 4 Favorite: Missouri 97, I was crying in the stands, dad refused to leave early, he was right. Most Painful: Texas, Red Out Around the World Best Single Moment: Henery/Suh or 97 Missouri Favorite Companion: Dad, grandpa (rip), IAHusk
I'll round out with Favorite: prolly that same first '95 game vs WSU. Got ol doc THOM's autograph as he was leaving cuz my 9 year old sconnie ass was all "but I came all the way from Wiscawnsuhn!" Painful: that '06 Texas game definitely or Niles Paul letting that backwards pass go in '09. Best single moment: i dunno outaide of late 90s i been to some real crud tier games so i dunno like demorrio getting three sacks against Utah St idk leave me alone
I agree with your painful choices and I submit Iowa state 2009 as the hardest game for me to watch live. We had no business losing to those scrubs and we lost in incredible 8 turnover fashion.
First, I think Baylor in 2000 with my then girlfriend and her dad brought us and barely spoke to me because I was some idiot kid dating his daughter and fuck that Favorite: Either 2009 Oklahoma where Sam Bradford threw 5 picks or this year against CU with my son finally old enough to get how amazing the atmosphere was Most Painful: 2019 Michigan p sure was when we should have won and Adrian Martinez fumbled away the game on some run of the mill qb run toward the end. I've been lucky enough to have not attended many losses in person. That or 2019 (or 2017 idk) Ohio St iirc where it was an absolute shellacking and everyone left at halftime which was a first for me at Memorial. Best Single Moment: idk the last pick against OU in 2009 or the stop on 4th down iirc against Wisconsin in 2012 to win Fav Companion: My son easily
First - 1995 Pacific (I was 6) Favorite - 2001 Oklahoma Painful - 2006 Texas maybe? Moment - 09 Colorado Companion - Dad (think I’ve gone with someone else less than 5 times)
First: Pacific 1994. Was 9. Fucking blowout (70-21 iirc). Stayed to the end. My dad was a dirt poor teacher and we walked around and picked up commemorative cups that people didn’t take with them for him to use as water containers for art class for washing paint brushes. Still fucking smh about it 30 years later. Favorite: 2013 SDSU game. Wife and friends came down and wore blue, I wore red. Blowout win, but fun tims pregame. Painful: only loss I’ve been to, Purdue 2018. Was just a cold, wet loss to David Blough picking us apart. Single Moment: I have been to no single memorable moment while inside the stadium tbh. Companion: demon spawn.
My road game experiences have been much more memorable (nw last second FG), more fun (@ Washington), and more miserable (Minnesota 2013 uhhhhhhhh)
I went to a wedding last year during the Lousiana Tech game and I was watching on my phone during all of it like you do and at one point I was like am I so out of touch is it me who's the problem watching a bad team barely beat an even worse team during this wedding and reception and then I thought no it's the children who are wrong
Had some fish heads earlier. Ate some gay hating chicken for lunch, always sets em off. Now I’m sweating my ass off, took a little stroll around the hood and fucking hell, didn’t realize it’s 95 out.
First: 90 Baylor-1st grade Favorite: 94 CU- College Game Day in town- got Corso/Fowler/Herbstreit autographs, stadium fucking loud, dominated the Buffs Most painful: 06 Texas- Marlon Lucky pass to Nate Swift to take the lead and snow falling/winning at the end up there with best single moment until Nunn fumbled and we lose Best single moment: 08 CU-Suh TD or 13 NW-Westerkamp hail mary was pretty cool to see live Favorite companion: Dad
First- crouch td catch against OU Favorite- same one Painful- Iowa last year Best moment- crouch td Don’t really have a favorite companion I guess
