Gat dam. In a completely 100% non homo way that gets me 6 to midnight quicker than a walk-on long snapper from Arthur county.
From RSS Confirmed that Nebraska is set to host three official visitors this weekend. Cam Mack, Salt Lake (Utah) C.C., PG, So. Jayce Johnson, Utah, C, RJr. (Grad transfer) Yvan Ouedraogo, Paris (France), F, 2019 I'm also told the staff is working on potentially adding one more name to that list, though I haven't found out who just yet.
Also has there been talk of Cam Jones transferring? Saw it mentioned in the RSS chat and Clouse said he didn't have a good feeling about it. First time I've heard of it.
If he doesn't get over a 2.0 this semester he's out of UNL all together. It's a serious academic deal right now.
Reading an article on 247 today about Nebraska dominating spring game attendance in the NCAA. Article mentions Michigan’s regular game attendance is getting so bad they’re going to stop announcing attendance now and got rid of a traditional spring game because PSU and OSU are using it to recruit against them. Sad!
They finally broke through last year and finished better than 3rd in their division for the first time in the Harbaugh era. He just needs more time.
I’m sure if he was worth the time and effort we wouldn’t let him fail. Sad to see athletes can’t even maintain a 2.0 when most of the legwork is done for them.
Hell, back in 2014 if you bought two Cokes they gave you two free tickets to the game That's how bad their attendance was https://www.sbnation.com/2014/9/22/6831037/michigan-will-give-you-2-free-tickets-for-2-cokes
Unfortunately this kid just got an LSU offer... https://247sports.com/Player/Avante-Dickerson-46059311/
Simple reasoning. It's easier to win over recruits that don't have offers from the likes of LSU than the one's that do.
I would rather Nebraska go after recruits that hold offers from places like LSU than ones that don't.
It may be some false bravado, but I don’t see kids in this state leaving this state very often going forward. The organization of this staff is top-notch. They offer a lot of guys they like early, at that point they dive deeper on issues both on and off the field, and they zero in on about 75 guys they feel that fits their mold and attack. I, for one, loved the offer list of our commits from last year more than about anything else the staff did recruiting wise.
You're reading into what I said or simply not understanding I guess. The gentleman linked in my post is a highly rated player who lives in our state. We already are recruiting him. He already has an offer from Nebraska. I said unfortunately just because now landing him is more of an uphill battle. Not saying we won't get him but it would be easier if he had less options rather than more...especially from an SEC school. That's it. Pretty standard stuff.
Sign you are old. In the last week I’ve spent $600 on flagstone (natural, non-cut) for a sunken patio I dug out into the side of my backyard below our deck. I spent another $100 on flowers and garden edibles today. All of this makes me excited to finish.
You know who I just remembered? Kade Pittman. 2* in-state SDSU-tier Kade fucking Pittman from the NU signing class of 2002. If Kade Pittman were offered today, we'd be outraged. And that's after almost 20 years of complete irrelevance and losing records 3 out of the last 4 years. But you know when we offered Kade Pittman? The year we were ranked in the top 2 for most of the year, and actually played in the National Championship game. 4 years after our last MNC. Still fresh in everyone's mind as one of the most dominant programs in college football with seemingly endless streaks of top 25 rankings, bowl games, 9 win seasons, sell-outs, etc. The most prolific rushing offense college football has ever seen. And our QB won the Heisman that same year. So we offered Kade fucking Pittman. Of the last 5 NU football head coaches, Frank Solich is the absolute worst. Fuck you, Frank. Hope you die. -pnkskrt
In fact, in that year, vaunted RB guru Franklin Delano Solich, on a mission to find the next torch bearers for the Nation's most feared rushing offense and college football's biggest dynasty, signed the following: 2* Antoine Bagwell 4* (lmbo) David Horne The aforementioned 2* from North Platte Kade Pittman 2* Ronnie Smith 2* Grant Miller
To this day Levorson is the biggest waste of athleticism I’ve seen in my entire life. He single handedly stopped my high school team from back to back state championships. We had 3 multi year NFL players, in class B Nebraska, yet he was the X factor. Do you know the position he played in his one semester at GBR U? Corner. Yes he was a 6’3” white corner from Crete Nebraska in the DB room with Prince, Dennard, Hagg, Gomes, etc. and had the most natural athleticism of the lot. The reason ppl say “smoking weed will ruin your life” is people like him. I mean obviously he’s just a shithead with or without the drugs but also what a waste. Quite a presumption that he gives a shit about LSU. I mean sure, I’d think it was cool if I were him but I wouldn’t exactly be rushing to play for a fat guy who hardly speaks English. Also as long as saban is coaching they will not finish higher than second in their division.
Remember the tim David Horne scored 5 TDs against the jar jizzers despite being absolutely terrible? Good tims
