Honestly, what do y’all even get from Runza? I’m a damn weirdo and have only had fast food burgers from one chain, In N Out and even those were pretty meh
In your life you've only had a fast food burger from one place? You've never tasted a McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, etc...burger, ever?
What? Honestly, for a fast food burger, Runza’s are arguably the best in the state. I usually go with the good ol cheese runza though.
Runza burger is one of the best fast food burgers you will eat but I always get a Swiss mushroom runza there
While we’re chatting about great things on their menu, their chicken strips are great. Cheese Runza and frings for me
Time for my once a quarter drop in. I've never met anyone that actually gets Runzas from Runza so the last three posts have blown my mind. Runza's burgers are top tier fast food burgers though and there is just something about those crinkle cut fries.
The only Runza in KC was 1/2 mile from my office when we were located in Mission. When I moved down to South KC 3 years ago that Runza closed like 3 months later. Yes. I was single handedly keeping a Runza open by myself.
Grew up in a town that only had McDonald’s. Plus my parents would grill 5-6 times a week. I only order chicken from fast food which is probably worse I know.
Damn, how small of a town did you live in? I live in a town of 8,000 and we still have 6 fast food places.
Did you not go to college? College are the days of eating shitty, cheap fast food regularly especially late drunken nights.
When you don't live in Nebraska, it's real difficult to justify getting a burger instead of a Runza when back in the good life. Feel like I've commented on this before, but our local Runza made a massive mistake on their deal for the community cards the high school music department sold as a fundraiser. Buy a medium drink and medium fries, get a double cheeseburger for free. $3.17 to take 10-15 years off one's life at the age of 15-16. Open campus for lunch...probably went 2-3 times a week
He's right though imo. Both are good although their burgers do happen to be better than 90% of other fast food burgers.
I see some of you guys did not hear about Meat Monday or whatever the frick the state celebrated recently.
Was joking about vegan runzas but also what the fuck is meat Monday? Plz don’t tell me the gov didn’t lash out at people doing meatless Monday?
Colorado did something where they encouraged people not to eat meat for a day so the Gov showed them who’s boss by doing some meat day thing a couple weekends ago.
Hopefully that sets up the transfer to Nebraska in a few years! (Just kidding, I actually hope he goes crazy at Gonzaga but if he doesn’t....)
I feel social media is the best measurement for fan engagement. This sort of dumb video was a layup for thousands of likes not long ago. Apathy is real. The sellout streak will end next year on Scott Frost’s watch and I think if it weren’t for pent-up COVID demand, it would have been this year.
