Maybe it’s due to the former players pictured above, but I’ve always wondered at what point do we just remove that “Winning Tradition” patch lol
at that writing. It’s like he’s mad they didn’t announce formally and embarrassed he discovered it himself
Name for me a more cringeworthy "moment" in Husker history than a walk-on QB connecting with a white WR on a hail mary against Northwestern to preserve our storybook 9-4 season. Then our Legolas Tim Miles fanbase comes up with "Westercatch" as an appropriately embarrassing name for it.
Nothing like true Husker Heroes saving the day when all the odds are against you at home vs. McNeese State
Top 25 fastest team in the country (all divisions) McNeese state! Glorious times when SIA convinced rss that a team made up of FBS rejects conceivably could have equal talent to our team of actual FBS players.
New punter commit from Australia. Throw another shrimp on the barbie. If this guy is a rugby punter I'm out
Cerni should help NU's hangtime issues on punts as well. In 2019, the Huskers averaged just 3.68 seconds of hangtime on their punts, and the highest average they've had the last four seasons was 4.06 seconds in 2017. On nine punts Cerni posted on a YouTube reel with Wishnowsky, he averaged 4.85 seconds of hangtime and easily booted balls 50-plus yards. He had three punts with at least 5-second hangtimes, with a high of 5.27 seconds and a low of 4.41 seconds. To put that in perspective, top NFL hangtime averages range between 5.4 to 5.5 seconds according to PFF. The college game is a little different, though, as low directional rugby-style punts are a big part of the game. Cerni has displayed the ability to do both - punt directionally with a rugby-style and kick conventionally with over 5 seconds of hangtime. A good barometer would be Siposs, who averaged 4.24 seconds on 61 attempts at Auburn in 2019. That mark was fifth-best in the country according to PFF. At 3.68 seconds, NU ranked 91st in that same category. Over 12 contests last season, Nebraska's game-to-game hangtime average was anywhere between 3.25 and 4.03 seconds. The highest average came at Colorado and the lowest vs. Wisconsin, per PFF. The addition of Cerni puts the Huskers back to 81 players on scholarship. Wide receiver JD Spielman could easily bring the Huskers down to 80 if he does not return in 2020
Good Get!!! Already looking forward to reading the tweet next year that he is entering the transfer portal.
My attitude towards Nebrasketball is so shitty but they have basically done nothing ever to give me any sort of hope or optimism.
That's the best sort of team to follow. Any time they do something even remotely good it's like Christmas.
Jet flyovers to t healthcare workers fts? Fuck off man, that jet fuel can prolly pay a meat packing plant worker's salary for a year. This hero shit's getting d*mb
As someone born and raised in Omaha, I don’t really keep tabs on the rest of the state. How rogue is Dawes County? I see that’s where Chadron is so maybe the college contributes to this, but I had to laugh that as of now Biden and Trump both only have lost one county and it was Dawes for each.
Interesting choice. Looks like they have 2 guys back with starting experience and another QB transfer from Baylor. I fully expect him throw for 500 yards and 6 TDs against us.
The absolute dumbest. Pay 1/1000 the money and buy the entire hospital staff a d*llybar and I'd get more enjoyment out of it.
It was pretty great frankly. We got the one with warm water too and it was awesome. Recommend 9/10 will fish head again.
