Do you have a link to the dock you use? I’m thinking this is the best solution based on watching a couple YouTube videos. From what I can tell it looks like you can basically remove your laptop pretty easily when needed then basically re-dock it and get the extra monitors rolling pretty quick?
Now that I know this docking thing is an option, I’m kicking myself for not taking my monitors home from my actual office/desk. I declined to do it since I figured I couldn’t plug a second one into my laptop.
Think the HP Ultra Slim 2013 and yeah. You just set it there and connect it and everything pops up immediately. You’ll want to set your monitors but once you do that it’s perfect. Then if you want to disconnect to go sit in a chair or outside you can still do that.

There's so much safety theater happening right now. My brother's school just did his high school graduation ceremony last weekend. All of them had masks on the entire ceremony and were seated six feet apart throughout. Then after they got their diplomas they did a big, maskless group picture. Like what was even the point?
Because no matter how many times Wisconsin absolutely pushes our shit in, we are still the bigger draw.
