Just curious, where did you see it was full pads? Setting the B1G protocol aside, I thought they would have been only able to go with half-pads today per the NCAA rules.
A friend texted me that we were practicing in full pads today, but I cannot verify that’s true or false.
that reads like a college football player wrote it. We demand you let us play football and also keep us safe!
#WEAREUNITED #WOOFWOOF Dear humans, we demand all treats and sausage all of the tim. We also demand that you keep us healthy. Both things. Respect our decisions! Dog
It is hilarious that Dean is seemingly blindsided by this. Maybe I’ll be able to break 100 consistently now that Saturdays in the fall are open.
let’s just replicate our Spanish flu addled season of 1918 and play #Notre Dame Fighting Irish But have the game postponed twice, then ultimately have the score settled in an anticlimactic 0-0 tie. Throw in a few randoms like Omaha Balloon School and Camp Fungston and boy it could be a year to remember. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1918_Nebraska_Cornhuskers_football_team#Schedule
I will give credit to Frost for that presser. He probably made the best argument for playing that one could possibly make while not being dismissive of the challenges. That said, I still don’t know.
That's a pretty terrible quote if he couldn't even bring himself to pay lip service to player safety.
80 year old ranchers attending a game at Memorial this year? Make sure to read this page turner from NostraSeanus btw
Pushing the season back a few weeks is truly the dumbest solution. Now you're giving yourselves no leeway to shuffle schedules around based on outbreaks. If one bad thing happens, the whole season is fucked.
My 19 month old daughter asked "please up?" with regard to climbing on top of the grill while it was lit and it's almost like sometimes kids really don't know what's best for them.
I’m sad no one brought up SUPPORTING the TROOPs and WALKONS at the same when assorted ww1 camps assembled squads of Jimmies and Joes to play the huskers to support THE LOCAL economy of Lincoln
