How do I quantify my own stupidity by being both so frustrated with the tail end of this year and wildly optimistic about next year. The stars are aligning for a great season next year. Ive seen this story play out countless seasons and I don’t seem to learn. Sports are dumb.
Similarly I feel more confident about playing Iowa than almost any other game on the year. It makes no sense but I think they'll win. I mentioned earlier in the year that I finally feel like a fan again instead of a reluctant observer
Idk some dudes love college, plus he’s probably making a livable college wage with NIL. Still odd but happy nonetheless
Yeah, for better or worse I wonder if this type of stuff is where we’re more likely to see NIL help us out a little bit when it comes to keeping a mid-late round NFLer for another year. Plus for as good as he’s been the back half of the season, he started slow since he was hurt in the off-season and hasn’t been super consistent his previous seasons. Maybe he feels like one more season can move him up a bit in the draft despite being on the older side.
I think if White is back and the rest of the eligible defense is back Y2 is going to be nails. Prob attractive to be part of that. Just have to have White stick around.
I wish beating them had some consequences with regard to the post season but in many ways a loss to the Husks followed by a Michigan beatdown, would pretty terrible for that miserable fan base.
Nebrasketball has their toughest matchup tonight thus far. Duqense has one of those old-ass man backcourts that could fuck around and make a sweet 16. The only problem tonight and in the NCAA Tournament is Nebraska is clearly going undefeated this season.
Top tier nickname game by Knighton Speaking of, awesome to hear that TK is one of the chief reasons Ty Rob is coming back. Guy is a keeper
crazy to see us at 24th offensively. I think that’s what we all thought Fred would bring. Think we’ve finally got a good mix offensively to finish top 50
it will be disappointing if the PBA crowd vs Crayton isn't the most hostile we've seen since No Sit Saturday. fire that racist loser institution into the sun.
The crowd was pretty wild when Miles finally beat him in his final season. It helped we didn’t start off the game immediately giving up a 37-5 run. Also, Nebraska wore red at home which I’ve always thought they should do for every Creighton game.
This is the equivalent of being in your mid 30’s and still excited as fuck to go to the hometown bars the night before thanksgiving.
the bars are fine, having conversations with people, ‘what are you doing these days OZ?!?!’ Over and over and over sounds like a nightmare. I have a couple friends from my hometown I still keep in touch with, the rest of the town I could avoid forever and be just fine.
