I know Purdue isn't the best, but thought Gottula has held up really well the last 2 weeks. Good sign for the next couple years at LT.
Wisconsin just cannot get enough of being Nebraska. They completely fucked themselves hiring Fickell.
I’m old enough to remember saying this exact thing and having a thread full of dummies tell me everything is fine there
Honestly one of the few good things I can say about pelini is his guys never questioned whether he’d be an absolute lunatic on their behalf. That means something
We have to tackle and keep them behind schedule on offense because that ground game is potent. They gave up considerable yards last night but bowed up in the red zone and UW shot themselves in the foot too. Gotta convert our chances better than normal. The second half team today can beat them. The first half team will get ground into oblivion
We won’t have trouble getting off blocks with Rutgers. It’s tackling. Their backs will make you miss and look silly.
They had us 43,92, Purdue 11.69 https://www.collegefootballinsiders.com/matchup_preview/?team1=Nebraska&team2=Purdue
My 5 and 3 year olds saw him do the real flourishy bow after a PBU and now they do it after doing anything particularly impressive in their own minds
LOL. My kids are also doing the bow playing football in the living room. I of course yelled at them to stop and act like they’ve been there before!
If you told me at 9 am we win 28-10, I would have said GBR NFM. That first half set football back 100 years. I don't know how the next 7 games go, but 4-1 seems like a good place to be in to start year 2. There HAS TO BE a game where we put together two halfs. Dylan Riola Stats 2024 CMP ATT CMP% YDS AVG TD INT LNG RTG 83 115 72.2 967 8.4 8 2 59 162.3 I would bet the house he figured out how to throw a deep ball in the money by the time he is done at DONU. If we don't give EJ the ball 15 runs a game, what are we doing? Hopefully no more peacock games this year.
They look pretty good. Illinois is not a bad team, though we lost badly, but PSU is handling them physically in a way we couldn’t dream of yet
This is heavily skewed by having UM in our first five opponents last year, but this is still interesting. When your QB can operate a modern offense at a minimum mediocre level but not turn the ball over, you’re basically automatically a bowl team
It says we lose 24-22 this week vs Rutgers. https://www.collegefootballinsiders.com/matchup_preview/?team1=Rutgers&team2=Nebraska
I love that DR says all the right things and is so cool in the pocket but that there's clearly a fire under there and he'll let it out occasionally
