I’ve spent 9.5 years in Portland and had every single Osmond person and chud ask me how I deal with the rain and ask how much it rains and, ‘how can you deal with that?!?’

Me, ‘it mostly sprinkles, Portland gets 36 inches of rain a year and Omaha is 29+ inches on average.’

They look at me and think I lie.

I’m on day 4 back in Omaha and I just had every satellite go out at a bar while watching hockey, golf, and USMNT because of the heavy rain, I almost got struck by lightning when I stepped outside for 5 seconds (promptly went back in and didn’t take a call), and I’m currently in a county with a flash flood warning after a rain I haven’t seen in over 9.5 years…
