Random question. Some guy dropped off Uber eats from Hooters and ran away. It says it’s for Sherline , but idk who that is. Can I eat the food? It’s been on my counter for 15 mins in case they come back to get it.

I know my neighbors and none are name Sherline. I didn’t go check why someone knocked until maybe 5 mins later bc I was putting together a new mailbox in the kitchen. It then sat in our kitchen for 15. I’m eating it now.
They definitely can not legally take food from your house to a different customer. Sherline is getting a refund or a new order + a $5 Uber credit and you get free food. But steamed shrimp from hooters... may want to pass on that one.

I have one experience with Uber Eats. We ordered Hopcat and our driver showed up with a bag of Wendy's. Tried to get us to take that instead. We declined. Uber Eats refunded us but refused to offer any future credit. Which seemed ridiculous to me. Mistakes happen so whatever but I feel like the corporate behemoth should make up for the inconvenience.
I’ve DoorDash’d a local restaurant every weekend since the pandemic. It’s always right, always on time, always good eats.
Also make sure the driver gets a $10+ delivery tip. They deserve it, and the food gets here insanely fast.
On that note, Drizzly. It’s booze delivery. I went to my local spot and asked the gents behind the counter what they thought. It was unanimous, please use drizzly because we get delivery tips. Used it once, sat on the front porch steps and split a pour of Basil with the driver and shot the shit for a ten. Still don’t use it enough because the fees are kinda crazy but it’s nice to support locals.
Husks with another win. Down 5-2 before winning 11-5 ugly start but good finish. Northwestern sucks, but that’s 5-6 since the shitty weekend against Rutgers. This team isn’t a top 15 team, but, as I’ve stated before, I think they seem to be damn well coached.
Also a COVID ridden northwestern team. They only brought 7 pitchers this weekend. Outside of Povich they just don’t have consistent enough pitching.
absolutely. Northwestern was ravaged going into this weekend. So was Minnesota. I’m just happy to see a team kind of do what they should even if they suck. like you mentioned before, this team isn’t beating a good team. But it’s easily the best baseball team we have seen in a while and they don’t seem to fold. It *appears* coaching is better.
Of course it happens against a team we would/should beat anyways. This isn’t like when NU FB fans said Wisconsin was running scared (aka we’d get beat by 35 to their scout team). Sucks if this comes back to screw us
The positive is that we play #2 & #3, 5 of our last 7. So at least we completely control our destiny. Sure would be nice if we wouldn’t step on our own dicks here. Don’t think I expected the team to be in this position though. Have to keep hitting cause pitching is very suspect at times.
Fair point. I was more so trying to say that they’re married couples , but no women. I live in Wilton Manors and every other house has a rainbow flag out front.
They have some of the funniest names stores here though. If you go on google earth and drive down Wilton drive you’ll see a bunch. Of good ones.
