Hehe But unfortunately hes going to make some all american lists. Just a turd of a talent eval by Iron Mike. We didnt sign a DE that cycle
also love how Herbstreit keeps talking about Baylor getting "the 2016 version of the death penalty" which, in fact, did not involve any sanctions whatsoever, iirc
Didnt we also pass on Wisconsin's Garret Rand? Spoiler All the Garretts!!! Srsly, I thought his family has hunted somewhere around Cozad for generations
Let me give grandma Dirt a ring for ya to figure out the deets. She’s the original Cozadian socialite.
Just found out that the Broncos have Fant from Iowa AND Fumagoli (sp) from Skonnie. Vomitpuke chunderbarf
D*rn it, I quoted the one above me but it didn't take because he changed your quote. Ol Pnkskrt ended Gerry and tore off old scabs I thought had healed.
Now 82nd in total defense. Only worse years were last year, 2017 when Riley was fired, and 2007 when Callahan was fired.
The Athletics top 130 came out. And knowing you guys enjoy starting your week with a glass full of bleach let me break it down for ya. We come in at a beautiful number 90. No matter how far we fall we won’t fall out of that top 100 (until we lose to Maryland). What I love, our 4 wins come versus programs ranked 124, 114, 103 and 47 (the mighty Illini).
I’d want to see some yards per play allowed comparison. Our offense has relinquished possession embarrassingly quickly all season That being said, these numbers are horrific because this defense does have some talent. The scheme and play calling are more to blame than anything else
What does the LB coaching staff do? recruit? Nah Develop? Nope Perform well in game, generally look like they know what to do? Lmbo
These are the only numbers I can get pulled up from the NCAA site. I'm also beginning to hate the ypp metric because it's too often abused by people who want to excuse shitty defense. Regardless. 2019 - 5.71 2018 - 5.81 2017 - 6.34 2016 - 5.53 2015 - 5.88 2014 - 5.37 2013 - 5.21
We are 59th in total offense. 5.96 ypp and 417.5 ypg. Defense is giving up 413.6 ypg. Also tied for 85th in turnover margin at -3. EDIT: We are doing surprisingly well at improving on penalties though. Tied for 38th in fewest penalties per game and 33rd in fewest penalty yards per game. That's encouraging actually.
I think this is all fireable. The defense just should not be that bad. There are capable players on it and a decent coordinator would have them in the top half nationally.
https://www.tampabay.com/sports/buc...the-star-tampa-bay-has-not-always-recognized/ Since he entered the NFL in 2012, no one has made more solo tackles than David. No. One. The next-closest player is Carolina linebacker Luke Kuechly (six Pro Bowls). And the only players with more tackles behind the line of scrimmage are J.J. Watt (five Pro Bowls) and Calais Campbell (four Pro Bowls). Noticing a trend? Also, David is tops in the NFL in defensive fumble recoveries the past eight years. And sixth in forced fumbles. He’s also one of only two players with at least 10 interceptions and 20 sacks during that time. And, by the way, he hasn’t been flagged for a penalty in nearly three years and has only six in his career.
You know Thom-damn well what you need to do. Now get to drawing that pentagram on the floor with the freshly drawn blood of a banty rooster.
