roast beef on a demi baguette with white cheddar and horseradish strawberry and rhubarb siggis sumo orange good lunch, will eat again tomorrow
I should add that I got the plate from a seafood joint down the road. They cook everything up there sans the rice with their crawfish and spoon some of the boil over the rice.
Leftover mashed turnip, pasta w/ bechamel sauce, and some beef/veggie/cabbage mix that was pretty tasty. Basically a leftover combo plate from 3 recent dinners. Then a peanut butter cup and a pack of oreos because why not. *edit* what the hell is a turkey neck, are we talking about Beamer
That’s the only way I’ve had them. Guy I worked with did turkey necks and pigs feet and they did them just like you would any crawfish/seafood boil. They were good. Need to get around to trying the Turkey Leg Hut here at some point.
It’s also popular to use them to season greens and they’re delicious that way as well. kinghill a turkey neck is a turkey neck. They are used to season vegetables and seafood boils but they are meaty and tender and delicious and they take the flavor of whatever they’re cooking in while maintaining a dark meat turkey flavor. You pull the meat away from the neck and eat them over rice.
This just sounds like a classic, delightful lunch. Nothing crazy but you know exactly what you’re getting
