Such a psychopath move that the reason why he picked her for this scam was the fact that he was absolutely convinced she was going to die and he’d have to keep up with the charade just long enough for that to happen
He had posted about her previous in one offs... and there were inconsistencies in her age based on some of those posts
The most impressive thing about this saga to me was that no one ever clued Darian in on what was happening. Unless someone did and I completely missed it.
If memory serves, there was talk of reaching out to her and it was pretty unanimously decided that it would only make the situation worse.
He was a really bad liar. Contradicting himself on the first two pages and then the whole posting in Smoltzy about being at Hooters while posting in here about her coming home party. Then the whole doctor guilt and paying for the whole thing story as well as the printing bracelets with a nurse on the 2nd floor Spoiler #fightdarian
Not to mention being Facebook friends with a bunch of posters who noticed there was never anything about the two of them on his Facebook

I am fascinated by pathological liars. I played HS baseball with a guy who would tell the most absolutely insane lies. Like that he was a RN as a senior in high school, this fucker literally would wear scrubs to school. Last time I saw him he had gotten a tattoo recognizing his National deadlift championship.
Does he ever come back itt and respond? Does he actually ever respond in any thread? Read to pg 22 and saw Duval DM him and he doubled down once again. Anything actually happen after that?
senior year, my buddy who lived down the street from me and who rode to and from school with me every day for all 4 years of HS, tried to tell me he had played jv basketball as a freshman. it somehow never came up until then. he sucks at basketball and just refused to admit he was lying about it. it was a bizarre lie

Some of you guys may remember that Sterling loved McKayla Maroney. I was perusing Cameo shortly after he got exposed and saw that she was on it. I had an idea of having McKayla make a cameo for Sterling and Darian and having her say fight Darian. It would have cost a couple hundred bucks, so it wasn’t worth the ecred and likes. It would have been hilarious though if it was executed right.
rereading this now I'm convinced he had three stacks on ignore and never saw this post he disliked him going way back and would bitch about him on the FSU board .. makes for an amazing reveal in retrospect
I fully got sucked in. Remember actually thinking “no fucking way” when the doubt-posts started. Then reading more and being like “oh.. oh no”.
Ha I was just thinking this is as weird as when Michael Photoshopped himself onto the skiing photo with the realtor lady’s family.
That was best part about it, the lies were all knowably false. The oddest part of the whole story is that there is now a rumor in my hometown that he died of some rare disease. When I’m home and this occasionally comes up, I always ask them to show me an obituary/Facebook post/anything, and they never can. I choose to believe he finally got one over on people and moved out of state
