Thank you guys, I've smiled and laughed for the first time in days reading these messages/gifs. It means a lot that you guys care so much and are supporting me even if it just words on TMB, it does mean a lot honestly. Something else truly amazing happened a couple hours ago around noon. The Dr. who told all of us to "say your goodbyes", not in these words he was a lot more sincere, but still.... He came by to see Darian and we were all in the room. He said he was literally embarrassed to walk into the room to face us knowing what he put us through. Get this, THE DOCTOR HIMSELF called for the Hospital CEO who was in his office a couple floors below to come in the room with all of us. So he came in a couple minutes later, and the Dr. told him straight up "I want to donate $14,000 of my own money to this sweet girl and her family". Can you believe it? Why 14K specifically? That's how many hours roughly we suffered after he told us the worst new possible to when another doctor came to tell us NOT to give up hope and their MAYBE a chance still and not to lose faith/positivity just yet. I'm truly overwhelmed at what has happened. Feels like a dream, mostly because I haven't slept in 5 days but still... I can't say it enough, thank you for all the posts/messages. Always interesting to see how doctors who misdiagnose people react when they find out how wrong they were. Good to see him at least try to make it right. Though I wouldn't be surprised if the hospital was doing a bit of CYA with the donation, but that's for another day. Happy for you Sterling

After an extremely long and tough day, it was awesome to come home and read your last two updates. Good for you, Sterling A ,I hope nothing but the best for you and Darian. Truly an amazing story and good for the Dr to own up to his mistake and try to help out in the end.
