So many damaged and unwell people in this show. Jackie from FX might be the most stable and balanced character.
To be fair, whenever I’m on coke I’m pretty confident everyone wants to bang me. It hasn’t actually happened yet but one of these days.
The come down scenes are so well done. The Berlin episode from this season and season 1 when Harper is scrambling to fix the Sterling/Dollar mishap running on zero sleep.
One of my favorite ongoing things in this show is Rishi's background comments throughout the episode. Makes the captions a must have.
Neil Hamilton as a guest at Rishi's wedding lol https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neil_Hamilton_(politician) Due to his television appearances, The Guardian described him as "an all-purpose Z-list celebrity".
That episode was bleak throughout but that split second yas flashback…. fuck This season is going to get very very dark
Just finished season 1 and Harper might be one of the biggest narcissistic pieces of shit I've ever seen as a show character. The victimhood is astonishing.
I loved the investor who was collecting his farmed raised eggs in a Barbour jacket and then drove to town in his vintage Rover to shit on their numbers with his moleskine notebook. So many good details
They make her out to be some kind of super genius but seems to fuck up all the time. My parents were looking for a show to watch and I mentioned this one. Forgot that one of the characters takes a load on his chest in one of the first episodes. Awkward.
lol that happened to me, but with Billions. I told my mom to watch it but forgot the first scene of the series was Wendy pissing on Chuck.
Yaz is moving into S-tier current TV characters for me. Amazing arc. Now the relationship with her father is getting DARK. I’m not sure I’m ready for what they’re about to reveal.
Great episode Spoiler Probably way off here, but gonna venture a guess: I think the Lumi guy may be in on a scheme with his old rich bros. Seemed like he was doing everything in his power to tank the share price on purpose the day his company went public, only to be unexpectedly foiled by Yas. Seems like he's a part of the Good Ole Boy network too and certainly runs in their circles. Too much went wrong solely because of his actions for it to be a total coincidence imo.
Seems far fetched. Easiest answer is he’s a silver spoon kid who has never faced adversity and is in way over his head.
Blowing coke up Robert's ass He's the finance Steve-O and zero chance anyone could function the way he does, he is sexy though
