I have it too, awesome game. I beat it on good already and half way through the bad play through. I'm not really into trophies but I think this could be the first game I get a platinum.
Infamous 1 was really good for being a free game after the PSN fiasco. Will probably buy Infamous 2 in a year or so when it gets super cheap and pick up a used copy for $5-$10.
Infamous 2 will still be $50 a year from now. The original infamous, aside from being free on the PSN for the next few weeks only, still sells for $27 used at gamestop.
I only buy games new if I'm sure to love (aka BF3/Skyrim this year, every 3 years or so Madden or NCAAF). You can get 6 month old games on Craigslist or EBay for half if not less. I've only been burned once by buying on Craigslist (meaning it didn't work when I brought it home) out of 10 or so purchases. If you wait a year or more you can get almost any game for $5-$10 through garage sales/Craigslist/Ebay (or at least I've found in my experience). Oblivion, Fallout 3, Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, etc. are some of the examples I've gotten for $10 or less.
Bought it a couple days ago. Definitely better than the first so far. Also fuck those swamp monster ravager things. EDIT: FUCK the bad ending.
:( Just beat the good ending. Amazing game. I love the addition of ice launch and lightning tether. Just wish the 2 could be used simultaneously without having to switch to them.
Got all the blast shards, dead drops, and finished all the side missions. All that's left to do is kill 100 civilians, beat it on hard, and do that while making all of the evil decisions. This will be the first game I try to platinum cause usually I don't give a shit but I figured I'd be 1 or 2 trophies off playing it twice anyway so might as well collect all the bullshit.
Pretty much exactly what I did. Also, the game is not hard at all on hard, I couldn't tell a difference.
So Cole McGrath has kind of become Sucker Punch's big brand and one of Sony's biggest. I think they find a way to make this a trilogy, and I wouldn't mind it being from the perspective of Kessler.
What does it entail? I traded it in about 2 months ago cause I felt I thoroughly exhausted the replay factor.
You don't need infamous2 to play it actually. I already beat it. It wasn't anything ridiculous, but you do get a cool vampire flying move. If it was anything more than 10 bucks it would not have been worth it.
