I am drooling over that soup, but Italian sausage is a non-starter for mrs constant. Any sausage really. And I just don't think it would be near as good without.
Sliced flank steak, brown in skillet first and then transfer to pot. 8 cups beef broth Diced onion Minced Garlic Tablespoon chopped ginger Diced mushrooms 1/4 cup soy sauce Tablespoon fish sauce 2 teaspoons sesame oil Tablespoon lime juice 3-4 green onions, chopped Fresh chopped cilanto Combine beef, broth, onion, mushroom, ginger, soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and cook on low for 8 hours. 30 minutes before it is done add lime juice and green onion. Make noodles and pour broth over, garnish with cilantro.
Made Kenjis Chicken Chile Verde and this tomato soup today. I couldn’t get Anaheim peppers and, absentmindedly, subbed red rather than green bell peppers when I was at the store this morning. So the Chile has a bit of a brown color to it still tastes good, just not much of a looker
So I’m making this Italian beef recipe that calls for putting 5 lbs of roast in the pot on stew for 120 mins. I want to make about half of that, should I cook it half as long? Any advice would be appreciated
I did the chicken burritos and they were excellent. Got a bunch in the freezer for a quick meal now too
Only problem with the soup, turns into a saucy pasta the next day, not much broth left. Was still delicious.
Between the instapot meals and leftovers from Sunday meals, I counted 83 meals in the freezer right now We are officially out of space and containers glad everyone is enjoying the tortellini soup as much as we did. That was a very fortuitous find
we’ve got the big stand up freezer. With leftovers from bbq cooks, meat from a quarter cow and these meals, we’re fresh out of space. But it’s a very good thing. We’re also heading out of vacation in Saturday so the last three weekends we’re prepping food for when we get back
Anybody have an instant pot/air fryer combo? may be having some issues with our IP. Think the seal may be compromised. Not something I really want to mess around with. Steam is escaping while cooking.
the seals are easily replaceable, you should easily be able to look and see if it's seated correctly too.
May have been covered in the thread, but if you have a convection oven, do you use it as an air fryer? Any tips? We've had good luck with ours, but I'm just curious.
An instant pot? I don't think of it as a substitute for convection oven baking at all. It's basically a pressure cooker.
Sorry, I thought there might have been air fryer discussion in here now, too, but I'll see myself out.
The only pressure cooker was trying to keep the company from going broke. Might rethink being rude to other cooking methods and products if you want thread to remain relevant Spoiler MBA 102
Yes. We have a convection steam built in oven that we use 10x as much as out actual range. We no longer use a small air fryer. It's the sane thing, just oven sized.
Chicken chili I did yesterday. Spoiler Slightly altered including way more chicken. https://www.skinnytaste.com/chicken-taco-chili-in-instant-pot/
