I think this is right. His father was also his great uncle. His maternal grandmother was also his aunt. His mother was also his first cousin. His paternal grandparents were also one set of his maternal great grandparents as well as his mother's in-laws.
His autopsy is pretty disgusting. “The physician who performed his autopsy stated his body "did not contain a single drop of blood; his heart was the size of a peppercorn; his lungs corroded; his intestines rotten and gangrenous; he had a single testicle, black as coal, and his head was full of water."” I don’t think autopsy narratives even in that time had much hyperbole.

Rasputin was pretty nasty right? Slovenly drunk, probably didn't bathe much? So she was the perfect choice since she wouldn't be scared away by the smell. Although maybe she wasn't the best choice, because it was harder to track him.
