I don’t think he is unfixable. 2019 he did ok with trash wide receivers. 2020 the o line was terrible and he had no wide outs and think he started to see ghosts. Hope he does great with the colts
It was a lot more than that but have seen crazier things. He got the yips at times, first game of the year vs WFT he was a HOFer till end of first half then completely gave game away. Seemed to be on downward spiral after that
i still think philly laying down for washington in week 17 was dumb as hell given they need to know if they should roll with Hurts or draft a QB early in the draft
At what point can we call into question Ballard’s decision making. Just an absolute albatross of a move to give up multiple assets including a 1st round pick for a mentally and physically broken down retread with a $28M cap hit
It’s sort of overblown in my opinion. He took advantage of the Jets desperation and was able to get Nelson at 5 (because Denver took Chubb at 4) and then hit on Darius Leonard in the 2nd after half of the scouting team literally pleaded with him while they were on the clock. He’s missed with multiple early round picks (Hooker, Wilson, Lewis, Basham, Tourey, Ya Sin, Banagou all 1/2 rounders that were busts) This is the same dude that passed on AJ Brown & Metcalf multiple times and instead took Paris Campbell’s bumb ass along with passing on every LT to the point of desperately signing the ghost of Eric Fisher without any ligaments in his knees.
No they’ll ride with Wentz as they’ve invested too much already & they’re on the hook for another $60M
Teams could do worse. Jimmy G or Wentz? Guess you take whoever is cheaper and hope for the best. Neither is ideal, but not terrible either
unless you have an aging team with a closing window (not sure who this may apply to), I'd rather try to hit on a young guy than think I'm going to win anything of actual significance with either of those two.
