The story is a "Michigan football historian" who epitomizes the arrogant academic portion of the UM fan base wrote a book with excerpts that make UM out to be a beacon of academic and athletic integrity compared to everyone else, and people outside the UM fan base are rolling their eyes and making fun of him and UM for it because that seems to be about the proper reaction.
Oh no, not that! I hope the Twitter grievance lords can find peace on the other side of these dark times.
I hope you're right! I'd hate to see someone get butthurt about something a clown like Matt Dudek said, and then be all "But what about Notre Dame?! Michigan has a General Studies major!" That'd be really embarrassing for them.
If you're focusing on the top of the board, then I think you're missing the point. Bacon emphasizes the "3X in engineering" when it probably means either 3 or 6 in engineering, which is probably no more impressive than a bunch of other programs that aren't the Harvard of the Midwest.
What is family resource management? Is that learning how to be an Uncle Phil-level dad? I might need a graduate degree
I think anyone who focuses at all on anything about that board is stupid. It's an OSU recruiting billboard that is bragging about having 14 Communications majors compared to Michigan's 24 General Studies majors. I'm not sure why you're so focused on this.
I mean you watch these teams for 2 seconds and you have to questions anyone who picked Michigan to win the big ten. Based on what?
It only gets easier from here baby! Always nice to have the toughest game on the schedule over after week 2.
Maybe. Maybe not. I definitely see Michigan struggling next week, though. Might not even score a point.
the best thing harbaugh has done at Michigan is consistently destroy lesser teams so that’s a weird take if it’s even real.
That's not accurate at all. UM has mainly destroyed lesser teams under Harbaugh. Today was an anomaly in that way. Last year MSU and Northwestern were close in the 4th Q, but one was a rival and the other played in the B1G title game. Indiana has annoyed them a couple times when UM wasn't as good. Only Bama destroys all those teams every year. This game was a disaster from a coaching standpoint in the second half, especially, but today's performance wasn't the norm for them against a lesser opponent.
He wrote all that, and then posted a note at the top essentially saying the original stuff he wrote was wrong. This is why I go to Michael Spath for my Michigan inside info.
