But why dies compliance have to be involved for a coach on staff to sit in a different seat on Saturday?

you can be an assistant without the recruiting compliance.....just can't have them on the road or intitiating contact iirc

 

I just know there are different rules for a head coach and assistant regarding recruiting and I'm guessing that has something to do with it if he's acting head coach

Insane to think an analyst/qb coach would be named acting HC

 

Then yeah trying to get him to be an in-field coach midseason is going to require some level of NCAA approvals. There are explicit rules about what Analysts can and cannot do.

 

Just give him a title like "Assistant to the Towel Manager" who just happens to be performing duties expected from a head coach. Southern Cal is a private school so paying him Harlan Crowe style shouldn't be an issue.

Many people are saying that all USC needs to cross the threshold is a better quarterback.

Reminiscent of young Oregon posters 10 years ago blaming their losses on the offense for only scoring 49 pts

 

We lost a defensive player to USC this past off season

 

My USC's defensive players lose every single down they play. Boom, you just got one upped.

Guy doesn’t get it. Stoops had a good culture, good coaches and when the farther away from that he gets the worse he does

Only that he was sick but sick with what has not been mentioned from what I have seen. I personally think it was a mental break from the pressure and criticism coming his way.

 

With that times article and then the subsequent two games, I hope he’s OK. It’s all fun and games and I hope ND wins every year by 30, but if it’s breaking a person that’s not good. So many things are bigger than a stupid football game

 

The end to this season is going to be beyond rough.
