Minnesota's season opening game against North Dakota State had 49K in attendance. Their game against Nebraska had 43K.
I'm not sure what this means for Minnesota football, but it doesn't look good for Nebraska football.
ND State always travels well
South Dakota State
he gave it away when he called fleck a great coach
yet people still couldn’t see the forest for the trees
Huge difference then.
it actually is
We're just hoping to one day be Iowa State
not familiar with the fleck filth, he done did?
Appears they are definitely back...
They’re probably going to be 8-0 going into the Penn State game.
Yeah, SDSU fans breath out of their nose.
Do you think he had a serious talk with her afterwards that her hands actually need to be on his ass?
ESPN Stats & Information: It's the fifth time the Gophers have started 6-0 in the AP poll era (since 1936). In three of the previous four instances, the Gophers won national titles in 1940, '41 and '60.
So, Minnesota has a 75% chance of winning its 8th National Title.
I believe that wife #1 was pregnant or just had a baby when he left her for wife #2.
At least one U of M is representing in the B1G.
Why?Pokes, this is how you should suck the neighbor’s dick. To be specific, from the back.
Left wife 1 for wife 2 and was smug about it.
Also makes teams add his personal "row the boat" motto to their uniform
While definitely not a good look...not nearly as bad as leaving a sick wife.
Minnesota is going to dump a lot of cash on a Fleck extension when I’m not sure he’s really going anywhere anyway.
His second wife is a huge downgrade in every way.
The rumors are that he was cheating on his wife a lot, including while their kid was dying. He is a shit human and while I think its cool Minny is good, I can't root for them while he is there.
Plus Jerry Kill went in on him.
"He coached with me, but after that, he changed a lot. I’ll just be honest with you guys. People that have known him before — When he got with [Greg] Schiano, his personality changed a lot. And I knew his first wife, and he just changed a bunch. And then once he became a head coach, I mean, I helped him get the job at Western Michigan, and I just think sometimes, ego gets carried away."
I mean you really don't even marry a girl like that unless shes REALLY comfortable with your ass if you know what I mean.
I got to attend the one in 2000. That loss tipped John Cooper over the edge and he never recovered. Fired at the end of the year.
Still think Nate Clements was shaving points that game.
Like, with a delivery nurse? The son died hours after being born.
Probably. I think the insinuation was it was on going during that whole time so who knows. I'm sure plenty of the message board rumors are exaggerated.
That would be a pretty shitty thing to do!
"My kid's dying. Somebody come get this dick. Quick he doesn't have long left"
Well, one person here stated he was cheating on his ex while she was very sick...then this one while the baby was dying...so, yeah the constant is that he was probably cheating but maybe not as bad of a situation as the message boards say.
Delivery nurse while baby is dying is such a niche fetish
This made me choke on a piece of bacon. Glad I recovered because I’d have battled to go out that way
Needed a phantom PI call to beat a Purdue that lost their best four players during the game.
Is this serious? “Needed” is being used very loosely. It was a clear PI and you’re leaving out that we dominated Purdue with a 3 TD lead until we went into prevent and they got a TD, onside kick, and TD. Even if they got the ball back, we had a TD lead and scored at will. I mean, our QB was 21/22 passing for 396 yards.
you’re a piece of shit and people still post on this board
Betcha Golden Shower fans never thought their team would be the focus of scuttle on tmb
Did your phone autocorrect Golden Gophers to Golden Shower?
He was obviously thinking of ShuPoor
tmb has ruined me
Jerry Kill sucks ass, all he's done since he left is bitch about Minnesota. If anything, Fleck is at least as genuine of a person as Kill.
This is...quite a take
I mean... Fleck's a dingleberry of a human, but I do agree that Kill isn't the saint that he's made out to be.
Sure, but that wasn't the take
Like him or not, by all accounts Fleck is the same in person and in private for the most part. Kill was very aw shucks I'm just tryn' ta do mah best in public and apparently kind of a douchebag in private.
I mean, they're college football coaches so obviously the bar is set pretty low to begin with.
I like Jerry and his wife Rebecca. I’ve been fortunate to travel with the team and hang out with Rebecca and her mother as well as meet Jerry numerous times. I like Tracy Claeys a lot too. He used to be my neighbor. I think they’re all great people. Jerry is definitely salty about Tracy not getting the head coaching job and on numerous occasions he has said things publicly that really shouldn’t have been said
I’ve met PJ and Heather but have no particular affinity for them. PJ is a bit weird and not the type of coach I would seek out but he seems sincere. Unlike previous coaches and administrators, I don’t hear things said behind their back about problems hidden under the rug. Heather’s public persona as coaches wife and always being visible is a little weird and I’d prefer less visibility but to each their own on relationships and public interfacing. I don’t feel like they’re cheating or cutting corners and they’re winning games with kids graduating so more power to him.
I’ve heard the rumors about his ex-wife and Western Michigan but take it all with a grain of salt because it’s inconsistent with what I’ve seen here.
Yeah? Well what would you know?
