Cannibal has good selection but can get crowded Rattle and Hum is near Empire State but is awesome Milk and Hops is on 9th but worth it Rooftop of Eataly usually has great selection but $$ I'd go Rattle n Hum if I were you
I had a drink at a bar nearby while i put my hattie b's order online. asked the bartender if it was cool if i brought the food back. wasn't a big deal at all and no waiting in line. also locals have highly recommended Prince's, which they say is the O.G. hot chicken spot, it just doesn't get the love based on their location. was in nashville a month ago. we spent like 6 hours on pinewood's patio, the next day at the bowling alley as we needed something to do before flying out. love that place
considering checking out either chiefs/jets or chiefs/giants in NYC. leaning more towards jets game as i figure the tix would be cheaper, but the giants have been garbage so we'll see wanting to explore the city Fri night/saturday, and still conveniently make it out to the stadium sunday. is there a particular part of town y'all would recommend i stay?
West side of Manhattan imo, by Penn station because that's the easiest way to get to the stadium and see everything still. Or downtown Manhattan
Like Oops said you def wanna be on the west side. Search Chelsea, West Village, Greenwich Village and see if you can find anything that suits your Fancy. Also when you coming?
Milk and Hops has a couple of locations. My link was to the Chelsea one, which is significantly nicer than the 9th St shop (although I love them both). Better location for you relative to Flatiron.
also going to NYC in October....coffee shop recommendations? Staying in midtown. My buddy is turning 40 so going to do dinner/drinks probably every night. Looking forward to reading this thread in the coming weeks.
Fine by me. Just an r and r trip with another two couples. Bringing my fly rods in hopes of finding some willing stripers or blues.
we have blue bottle out here. There was a place on billions that looked cool. City of Saints Coffee....anyone ever been?
sorry, not sure where you live? I've been to Saints in Bushwick, was very good. Didn't know it was in Manhattan also
MODEVIL don't get me wrong, Fette Sau is very good and a good choice if you happen to be in that neighborhood. But if you're doing some serious food tourism in NYC, Hometown is top stuff

Bar bacon isnt great imo. idea is fun execution is bad. I think Fancy and i spent like 150 at hometown last week. it was magical.
the fiancee reports that this place had the best cocktails she's had in the city, surpassing Clover Club Diamond Reef https://diamondreefnyc.com/menu/
Just ran 2.5 miles and every step was agony. The sandwich was begging to be thrown up. I think a beer from Other Half will help
